| Answer: | Here is the template that came with the unit. The bracket itself is 17 inches across. 10 &1/2 wide. The holes are made~1/2 inch from edge. The holes for the mounting screws are 1 inch long. They are spaced ~1 inch apart. There are 9 holes that can be used for mounting total across the top. And 9 across the bottom. The suggested holes on template are 16 in and 8 inch. Also has the hole in the center of the bracket for using only 1 stud. The unit also comes with suggestions on mounting for irregular studs that don’t line up with holes. It is really user friendly just use template to drill all pilot holes before mounting. I installed my arm to my desk via clamp method and its holding up a 34-Inch curved dell monitor. I can make it tilt, fold, flip, spin, do a little dance, etc. Its worth every penny. :) |
