I know another hammer drill I own doesn't act like its hammering until you actually start to drill. Before that, it sounds like just a drill. |

| Answer: | Not sure what you mean here. The screw that holds down the cover must be totally unscrewed and the cover removed to access the battery. then the battery is easily accessible. To start the screw back in, you need to insert the tip into its hole and jiggle/force the back into place then tighten the screw. Otherwise you will not get it started. The screw needs to be at least 1/8th inch shorter than it is. |

| Answer: | Sounds like you probably didn't take off the foggy/clear plastic cap covering the red needle part. If that is the case, gently take that off and it should be good to go. If you have already taken that off and it's not working, maybe try to bend the needle underneath downwards a very tiny bit. Also try it out on multiple records, there's always the chance of a really warped record. Also make sure you have the speed set to the right number for each record. Most of them work at 33rpm. If nothing works, different providers sell little packs of replacement needles you can order off of Amazon and hopefully that would do the trick. Hope this helps! After 9 pm - if it’s still on out back - I gotta bring it down to 2 or 3 . I mean - it definitely does what I was looking for . I took to my daughters place - had in her downstairs bar area - and I could hear it 2 floors up . I can only describe my exeperience with it . Definitely Five Star ⭐️ boom box ( IMO ).
