The transmitter works great this way. We get 4-5 hours running it with an on camera monitor using the recommended Sony extended battery. Question:	how many hours of record time does this have
Answer:	I set my 8 cam system to record only when motion is detected and I can go back and view clips from a week ago. I imagine with a single terabyte drive you can get between 500-600 hours with the H.264 encoding. So long as its selective recording, such as motion detection, etc. For continuous 24/7 recording that you would probably want to add a 4 terabyte drive to achieve the estimated 600 hours that's advertised.
Question:	can ititial set-up be done via internet or do I need to connect via hdmi/monitor and mouse directly? I'm not talking about viewing/playback
