Question:	Can you put the receiver on a timer so you dont get notifications during sleeping hours or will you need to setup things each time it powers back on
Answer:	We’re not sure about with a timer. There is a battery backup, so it continues to work if unplugged/power goes out. We thought maybe you could take the batteries out, but then it doesn’t work at all. An option to prevent sleep disruption could be just turn the volume down when sleeping. Although you would need to remember to turn it back up when needed. That could be resolved by setting an alarm on your phone maybe.
Question:	Can a single elevated sensor pointed at a 120dg angle aimed at a driveway detect a vehicle being parked and then reset
Answer:	The sensor/transmitter will go off when it senses heat (as from a car). But after the car is parked & the people leave it, it would not keep going off. I Don't know how a constant exposure to heat effects the sensor transmitter so that it would detect a new source of heat approaching an existing source of heat. I would like the manufacturer to tell us.
Question:	Sensor is as good at night
Answer:	Works well at night. I have one set up to let me know when pigs come in to rut up yard.
Question:	can you use two receivers with one sensor
Answer:	I wanted a 2nd receiver, but I decided to buy the whole combo again, since the receivers were so expensive. I figured I may as well buy the combo . So I put up 2 sensor/transmitters & set them apart -- you probably need 7 feet between them for them to work separately. Then I set my 2 receivers for 2 different music clips. So a person enters the driveway & sets off alarm 1, then a few feet later, sets off alarm 2. But I have one receiver inside my house for me to hear & one outside for an intruder or visitor to hear.

Troubleshootings:

1. Getting false alarm---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and 0-30 ft from your driveway, try to set your sensor in lower sensitivity.
2. Sensor going off---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and try to change the sensitivity, make sure there are no trees and moving branches in front of your sensor, please do not let your sensor's eye face to the sunlight directly. and one more important thing is that do not drop down your sensor on the ground.
3. Sensor stopped working---Please try to charge your sensor and see if the blue light will keep on or keep flashing, we need to confirm the battery is defective or not, if it keeps flashing Please get back to our service support through email in the user manual, we could replace the new one for you.
4. Sometimes work sometimes not---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and Please angle downward the direction of the sensor (rather than horizontal), that way the detector is looking at a vehicle for a longer period of time.

Answer:	It is a pain in the neck. Pair the first sensor with the tone of your choice and hide the sensor when it finishes pairing. Make sure it’s hidden from the receiver (under a blanket table another room etc). Then pair the second or third etc sensors as you did the first.

Answer:	Yes, it uses RF (radio frequency), just like your cellphone or walkie-talkie. Much like a control tower on the ground can talk to an airplane in the air, this can signal the base up a hill.

Answer:	in the setup guide you will find a " Dry " Set of Contacts. Which means the contacts have no voltage on them, but are operated by the receiving of a signal from the Detectors. you can put any voltage on these contacts, there is a normally open " N.O. " and a Normally Closed " N.C." and a Common " C. " the common is where you would connect your power source and then the N.O. would be where you would connect your signal to what ever you want to turn on when there is movement.

Question:	How long do the sensor batteries last before needing to be changed
Answer:	I have owned this product its been in constant operation 24/7 for 6 years now. My sensors have been outside ever since the day they came out of the box. Zero problems from any of the 5 sensors I have in use. I change out the batteries in each sensor twice a year to ensure that I avoid problems. So I know that the batteries are good for 6 months or more. CAUTION....PLACEMENT OF SENSORS IS CRUCIAL FOR THIS PRODUCT TO BE A USEFUL TOOL IN HOME SECURITY! It will take a bit of trial and error as the sensors are highly...well...sensitive! Be patient and they will become a valuable part of your security system.
Question:	Where can I purchase the AC adapter for the receiver
Answer:	I bought a Gemini universal adapter years ago.
Question:	How loud is the alarm mode
Answer:	The receiver has an "alarm" mode and a "ding dong" mode. It is also equipped with another switch that controls the pitch of the setting you choose. These options are loud, normal, and silent. Silent mode causes the light to flash only. NO MATTER WHICH SETTING YOU PREFER, I GARAUNTEE IT TO BE LOUD ENOUGH THAT IT WILL NOT BE PLEASENT ON THE EARS! Excluding silent mode obviously. And because of its range and expandable features, you can place a receiver on your night stand. Don't know abt the other answer, but if this alarm is set to loud and happens to go off when im sleeping, the first thing im gonna do is take out the sensor with my 9mm. YES THIS PRODUCT IS LOUD!!
Question:	What type of batteries
Answer:	The kit I received includes a window/door sensor which requires a CR2032 "button" battery. The chime-unit requires two AA batteries. I had mistakenly read these prior answers to imply everything *except* a button battery. (I prefer to avoid items where a button battery is used and a pair of AAA batteries would have sufficed, mostly out of safety for my grandchildren and the serious medical complications that can come from swallowing one.) I may still have made the purchase. It's just that I would have spent more time looking elsewhere on the off chance of finding a unit without button batteries.

Question:	How long does the battery last on the sensor
Answer:	It all depends on how often the beam triggers. You should get on the average 30 to 45 days of activity. The problem that I have with the alarm is it consistently sends false alarms and I have set it at the low sensitivity level, It still sends false alarms. The biggest problem with battery failure is you never know how old they are when you purchase them . If you are lucky and get fresh batteries they will run the alarm for several months assuming the alarm is not activating several times in a 24 hour period. Probably more than you wanted to know...Good luck and Merry Christmas...
Question:	can you program a time you want the sensors on or off
Answer:	no. No programming is possible.
Question:	Are the installation instructions available online
Answer:	Its actually quite simple. Put in the batteries, adjust the tone you want and the distance you want it to pick up on (we ended up taking it down and switching it higher after a week) with the two small switches inside the unit, screw on the back and swivel, pick a tree, screw it to the tree, walk by it 100 times to test it. (Make sure someone is in the house to let you know if it works from inside too), plug in the inside unit or put in batteries and voila! Its good to go.
Question:	Can I use regular batteries when rechargeable ones get bad? What size fit
Answer:	It uses a single 18650 rechargeable battery. Wires are soldered to battery and then plugs into circuit board. If you can solder, any 18650 can work as replacement. Battery is glued to circuit board, but with care can be removed.

Answer:	I have 3 of these.. my lowest mounted is about 1 foot off the ground on a tree stump along my driveway ..and the highest one I have .ounted is probably lying 4 maybe 5 feet and work like a charm ..

Answer:	I have 4 of these sensors , and they have been through several mountain thunderstorms so far .. I have All of them mounted at or near the base of a tree outside and have Never had any issues or problems with water issues of any kind so far ! *** There is a Rubber flap on bottom of unit to get access to on/off switch, ch assignment ... Just make certain that rubber flap is firmly seated and closed correctly. If mine haven't gotten water or moisture problems so far after a few months ... I'm Not expecting any .. I'm Very pleased with mine !

Answer:	Absolutely without doubt ! Have had mine (4 units) up in the woods and they have No problems at night .. they constantly pic up the deer in the woods all the time at night . Great units you won't be disappointed !
Question:	The outdoor sensor is, of course, battery powered, but is the indoor base receiver? Is this unit useless in a power outage? Thanks
Answer:	Nope, they thought of that too! The receiver is AA/AAA battery powered and works seamlessly if the power goes out or you unplug it to take to the field to test your sensor positioning. The batteries are rated for many hours, I think a few days, if it has to rely on them. There is no provision for using rechargeable batteries that get recharged when it's plugged in, eventually you will need to replace them, but of course you can use recharged batteries, they just won't work as long as fresh alkaline or Energizer lithium AA/AAA.

Troubleshootings:

1. Getting false alarm---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and 0-30 ft from your driveway, try to set your sensor in lower sensitivity.
2. Sensor going off---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and try to change the sensitivity, make sure there are no trees and moving branches in front of your sensor, please do not let your sensor's eye face to the sunlight directly. and one more important thing is that do not drop down your sensor on the ground.
3. Sensor stopped working---Please try to charge your sensor and see if the blue light will keep on or keep flashing, we need to confirm the battery is defective or not, if it keeps flashing Please get back to our service support through email in the user manual, we could replace the new one for you.
4. Sometimes work sometimes not---Please try to set your sensor above the ground around 4.5-6ft high and Please angle downward the direction of the sensor (rather than horizontal), that way the detector is looking at a vehicle for a longer period of time.

Question:	what happens during the snow season when it would be covered
Answer:	I have had my mighty mule covered in snow several times with no problems. This is the best driveway alert system I've ever owned... and I've owned several.
Question:	can a usb cable extension be added
Answer:	I extended mine about 100 feet and it works fine. I cut the sensor cable and spliced in 100 feet of direct burial telephone wire. It is shielded wire and I made sure to solder the connections to maintain a reliable connection. If I had it to do over I would buy a short USB extension cable and cut it instead of cutting the sensor cable. Use the female side and plug it into at the sensor cable and use the male side to plug into the transmitter. Connect your phone wire in between the two. That way if it does not work you have not ruined the original product.
Question:	I really don't like the electronic chime
Answer:	To me, it sounds like "some ba - dees here". I don't mind it.

Answer:	Volume control is variable, from 0 to moderately loud at full volume. (I wish it were louder. I'm old!) There is NO LIGHT on the Base Unit which would flash to alert you of motion. The alert is AUDIBLE ONLY. (There is a power "ON" light, but no other light on the BASE UNIT.) There is an LED in the SENSOR, which flashes when motion is detected. Remember, the sensor might be up to a half-mile from the base. Obviously, from that distance, you will not see it. You can barely see it when you are standing near the sensor. The item description is poorly written, implying that there is a light (on the base unit) that flashes when motion is detected. There is not. The LED inside the sensor is there to help with setting up the system, not to provide any visible alert.In any event, it is a good product, works well, and I would buy it again if I needed to.
Question:	How do you adjust sensitivity of the motion detector?. I am getting lots of false alarms
Answer:	I bought two base and 16 sensors in 2019. HEAT sets them off. Mine goes crazy when I burn leaves. Mine has two sensitivity adjustments. On the inside of the sensors, there is a tiny red switch. Up or down adjust the sensitivity from low to high. Batteries last me a year except for the one by my front door because of the amount of traffic. But it still lasts 10 months.
Question:	Hi, can I buy two sets and have both sensors equally report to either receiver? I need a receiver in the bedroom and one in the kitchen 60 ft away
Answer:	Just set it up to do this today. The deer tested it out for me after I set it up. Note that for some reason the receivers don't get the signal at the same time.

• False alarm, but there is nothing in front of the sensor when we check it

Cause 1: The sensitivity may be too high, causing little things like leaves or flies to be detected - Disassemble the sensor, and switch the sensitivity to a lower

Cause 2:The sun is shining directly into the sensor’s eye. The sunlight may be increasing the sensor’s temperature leading to false alarms - Install the sensor in another place that avoids direct sunlight from entering the sensor eye

• No alarm: people walk in front of the sensor, but the sensor isn’t making noise

Cause 1: The sensitivity is too low - Disassemble the sensor, and switch the sensitivity to a higher level

Answer:	Not sure. I placed it about 40' from the receiver. It only works maybe 1 out of 20 times. I do not recommend his product. It garbage.
