Answer:	Imo, yes. I primarily use this on paper, but have been known to reapply a tiny before starting to type if I've washed it all off (ie after a bathroom break) to keep my clean fingers from slipping so much.

Answer:	no software needed, you can program the buttons using the control pad itself. Just hold one of the programmable buttons down for about 3 seconds and it will beep and turn red. When it does this it is in the program mode and you can then select all of the devices you want. Once you're done selecting the devices just press the programmable button once again and it's programmed and ready for use.
Question:	Does this come with any type of bracket
Answer:	If you leave it in your car and it gets hot, it will leak out and make a huge mess.
Question:	Does the 800 come with the converter
Answer:	It doesn't really dry out, per se, but it can loose some of it's moisture… kind of makes it stickier, really. It doesn't change it's effectiveness, imo, just how easily your fingers can swipe across it. I never put the lid back on. It sits out and open on my desk daily, and I've never thrown it out before it's completely used up.

Question:	Does this have an ignition tie-in for powering on and off with the vehicle? If not, could I tap the 12v from a fuse or does it need constant power
Answer:	The speaker is waterproof, but I seriously doubt the siren controller is waterproof since it has vent holes for heat control.
Question:	Is it waterproof to put mounted under the hood
Answer:	It is really easy. RED can go hot all the time or to a switched power source(I have mine hot all the time since it does not appear to drain power in my RAM 1500) BLACK is to ground - MAKE SURE - you scrape the metal a bit for the best ground blue IS TO YOUR VEHICLE HORN if you wish. I did not use it since the unit already has the air horn sound and a "regular" sound built in, But if you wish you can hook the blue into your horn and it will over ride the built in sound when you push the button, but I like having the 3 different horns. GREEN will throw you for a loop you can use 1 or both of them but you only need 1 green that will go to the siren the other one is if you have 2 sirens. NOW here is where you will get messed up. 1 single green goes to the white side of the siren the black wire on the siren goes to ground. I just crimp on a loop and use a self taping screw to bolt it down. I can not explain why the made the green wires from the box go to a white wire at the siren one would have thought the colors would match. The WHITE and the YELLOW go to anything else you wish to run like a hazard light in the back window and a light on the roof. I always put the white and yellow wires in the plug holes them so I don't loose the jumper wires then tie them back FYI I have LED flashers in my grill so I use one color of wire to the front lights and since I also have a set of strobes in my rear tail lights I use the other wire to run them. I also like to leave my unit in the auxiliary because that way I have the PA ready at a moment as well as the air horn sound when you push the 2 way toggle down and the regular siren that I can use manually by pushing the button up. Otherwise you will have to select a specific sound and if hot wired it will sound off all the time and if switched it will sound off at the last setting you were using it for. So when it is all said I done you can see why I leave it on aux all the time UNLESS I am responding to a fire or a medical emergency that I have to get there by yesterday so using the moment 2 way switch is to hard to hold down and drive. Also another FYI I did have a couple of times that the unit would not come on when I needed the PA or would not shut up! It seems that the computer in the box on rare occasions gets confused and I found the fastest and easiest way to fix was to just unplug the mic and plug it back in and it all goes back to normal. Question:	Broke my mic, anyone know where I can get a replacement
Answer:	This unit is not water proof. So it needs to be inside of the vehicle.
Question:	Anyone have issues with unit getting hot
Answer:	On the left side of the controller is a button which when you press it activates the mic. You have to speak about two inches away from the mic and in a low indoor voice in order to hear it clearly. If you can’t hear anything your mic volume is turned down. On the bottom left of the controller is two holes. One is a button to change siren tone and the other is a Phillips head screw. Turn it until you hear your voice. Hope this is what you were looking for. Also make sure your cables are fully plugged in.
Question:	does this comes with a mounting bracket
Answer:	It's a little simpler than that. This uni will have a positive and negative wire for power. You will simply wire the positive and negative wire directly to the battery and the unit will power on and off through that power source. We hope this helps. Answer:	Not exactly sure on decibals but I can hear the siren running 60 down a rough dirt road clear as day. Microphone isn't the best but it's pretty loud for theprice
