A couple managed to fix theirs by opening it up and soldering in a new telephone battery they picked up on ebay. Question:	Is the pin attached to the unit so when you pull it you dont lose it
Answer:	It completely comes out and causes alarm when it's pulled.
Question:	Would it be difficult to set off the alarm if attacked? Seems it would be hard to pull a pin out if in a panic
Answer:	A slight tug and it comes out easily without force. But yet doesn’t come out easily enough to fall out on its own.... if that makes sense. I carry mine on a clasp on the outside of my purse.
