Answer:	I don't believe there is a continuous "feed." The device is activated by motion and/or pushing the button, then recordings are made. If it helps, the videos can be shared with several options. I share it to myself by email then I capture it with software I have for capturing videos on my desktop. Then I save my videos to an external hard drive for backup.

Answer:	On my units, to change the transmitter batteries you have to pop the back off the unit, undo two screws to remove the circuit board from the case, change the battery, then remount the circuit board in the case, then put the back on.

The "Sleep / Wake Mode" works the same as you opening or closing the cover, turning the kindle on when opening and turning it off when you close it. How can I extend the range of my Arlo system?

Instead of connecting the Arlo base station directly to your router, you can connect the base station to an Ethernet port on a Wi-Fi range extender or Powerline adapter. Does motion detection work through glass or windows?

Motion detection does not work through windows reliably. Arlo cameras use motion detection technology that is inhibited by glass, especially windows. Passive infrared, the type of motion detection used by Arlo Wire-Free cameras, detects changes in heat. Most glass used in homes today is insulated, limiting the movement of heat through the glass.
