Answer:	I can’t remove the battery and there is only a diagram on the back of the remote showing a small area to push in to open the compartment but it won’t open even if I use a small screwdriver to slide the pin over can’t turn on DVD player with remote or manually removed the strip that covers the battery by pulling off the clear tab so frustrating !!!!

Answer:	The seller really needs to reply to this. Mine doesn't hold settings, presets even though wired correctly with constant power. The only troubleshooting option remaining is a firmware update. I'm about to return it and give a 2 star review. Reviews for the $45 unit seem to br much better.
