It will handle the mic part, but unless your camera has a speaker built-in (look for a series of holes on the bottom of canera) then you'll still need a speaker to talk back. I used to have Sony cameras with mic and speaker built-in, you might double check to see if that's the case with yours before adding extra parts. Most people that have trouble getting this to work probably don't know all of the requirements in their software, I know q-see documentation wasn't sufficient and required some extra work to figure out. The manufacturer and model number of the camera would be helpful in figuring out what you need. If the connector looks like a large telephone connector, you may be set already.

Answer: I’m not sure if it will fit your application, but it’s a nice camera. I particularly like the built in OSD. IMO it’s better than your stock camera.

Answer: It should just be a matter of putting the camera with the included 1.25" nose piece into the barlow then place the barlow into the telescope's focuser drawtube. But since your mount is dobsonian you will only be able to do planetary and lunar photography. You need tracking and polar alignment for deep sky photography.

Answer: As long as you have RF Connectors on your tv, most TV's with inputs still have at least one set. Power up the camera and connect to TV and your off and running. I don't remember if it came with one BNC Female to RCA Male connector or not but those you can get at any electronics store like radio shack

Answer: This is not a network camera. It must be connected to a DVR system like a Q-see or Swann or Nightowl. If those DVR systems allow, you can view them on your cell phone. It is wired and must be connected to a DVR via a video/power combination cable.

Answer: It would technically be possible, but I think it would be more trouble than its worth. You'd need a power source for it--run off of your car's cigarette lighter. Worse though, you would need some device containing a hard drive to store the video. I think you would be better off with a standalone camera that had a slot for an SD card. You might look into something called a "dash cam".

Answer: Scott, I do not believe that this wiring is rated for any such conditions as running it in areas where it is constantly exposed to adverse conditions. (Although I don't know this for a fact.) I do know that I personally went through quite a few sets of these leads due to damage of different sorts until I got wise enough to protect them in wire conduit, flex, or other wire raceways. My suggestion would be to use a different type of cables like a RG-59 coax combined with a bigger gauge power lead for any critical areas that might be exposed to bad conditions. (This is assuming that you have a little more room for wall penetrations, etc. because this other cable is quite a bit larger in diameter.) But they are rated for all adverse conditions without extra layers of protection needed, however these cables are not available from Amazon and are readily available from other sources. These bigger cables are what the professional security companies use whenever they are not installing a completely wireless system. Remember that these "videoSecu" or cables work just fine in ideal conditions BUT as I have stated in my review--------These cables are at most a bare-bones minimum gauge and insulation to get the job done. And I am a electrical contractor that knows wire and it's properties. I hope that this is of some help to you. NOTE: The other cables are more expensive but worth every penny if you are installing in exposed conditions or areas where possible damage due to temperature, U.V. rays, constant high humidity or wetness conditions exist.

Answer: No, they are not . They are very cheaply made cables with no shielding - for your basic run through your attic installation. For the quality cables that you need, look elsewhere.

Answer: I have eight cameras and used two 60 ft. Cables with special couplers for several cameras and they're Crystal clear. Couplers available on Amazon or radio shack.

Answer: honestly you can purchase these cables. Even if you really needed that extra 50ft of cable(s) then you you have to buy special female adapters. which are here: http://www.amazon.com/Videosecu-BNC-Female-Adapter-1O6/dp/B0002KR0A6/ref=pd_sim_e_1but all the surveillance cables are the same. As long you make sure you have a power and video cord. sound is optional.
Question: If I need to go beyond 100ft with a given camera, can I connect these wires to make one wire run from 200-400ft
Answer: No. You can not. Those cables are designed for 100 ft. If you connect them to make 200-400 ft, there will be signal loss and voltage drop since it is too long. Do not do that. For 200 ft, you may use 18 guage power cord. For 400ft, even 18 guage power cord will not work.
