Confused ? do the maths, and find out the total power consumption of all devices connected to the output of the transformer. Each and every device should have a power rating such like , 200 W, 5 W, etc.. sum them up, and if it is less than 1000 W, you are safe to use it continuously as long as you need, given that there is enough ventilation for the transformer to cool down.If you have more than 1000W power hungry devices that needs to be connected to the transformer at once, think of upgrading to a higher transformer as there is no guarantee how long will it last for while in use.

The VC300W is rated at 600 watts maximum. It features a heavy-duty cord with a standard US 3-prong plug plus a free American to German outlet plug adapter. There are a total of two outputs on the front panel. Two are grounded outputs, one designated for 120 volts with a US standard outlet and 220 volt only universal outlet. For safety, it's recommended by the manufacturer that the voltage transformer's maximum power should be equal or greater than the power rating of your appliance multiplied by 1.5. Question:	Can i run two thermostats with one C wire transformer
Answer:	You would have to discuss this with the company that makes them. However, the dependency would be the power drawn from each thermostat - if they are the new low energy types it may work. The only problem would be the wiring.

Answer:	The "exposed wire" are leads that you connect to your thermostat, or video doorbell. They're not exposed once you connect them.

Answer:	This will work with any thermostat. It simply provides the 24V power needed assuming your tstat wire and doesn’t have the additional wires for 24v power. Most furnaces have the 120/24V transformer, but older homes tstat wire never had enough conductors. Newer homes should. Regardless, yes, this transformer with work.
Question:	Does this work with the ring doorbell
Answer:	If you use this with the Ring 2 be sure to check the instructions on the Ring website (https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205180710-How-to-Connect-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Directly-to-a-Low-Voltage-Transformer-Without-a-Pre-existing-Doorbell-) for connecting to a power supply without a doorbell. To keep from damaging the Ring a 25 Ohm resistor needs to be added between the charger and the Ring, mine worked for about a week before the Ring quit accepting the charge. My Ring still works, but won't accept a charge or activate a doorbell.

Answer:	Frequency (Hz, or cps) and Voltage are two DIFFERENT components of electrical power. This transformer will convert between 110 and 220 volts - basically halving or doubling the voltage depending on which input you select. The frequency is not affected, and normally the difference from 50 to 60Hz will not affect most uses. Exceptions might be some motors because they depend on the frequency to make them work correctly. The specific adapters you might need to fit the receptacles in any country are just mechanical modifiers and do not affect the voltage or frequency that is available.

Answer:	Yes it will. The requirement for a metal box is because the unit throws off a little heat and could, under certain rare circumstances, melt the box. I’m sure you’ll find no indicia of heat damage. If you’re really concerned, replace the box.
