Question: I have a PT-D200 which requires a negative tip polarity. The tip polarity of this unit seems to be "+" from the photos. Can any one explain why
Answer: The photo is wrong. I think they just used a generic photo and didn't think to blur out the polarity as well as the output voltage and current. The polarity of the adapter is actually "negative polarity". The output voltage and current is listed as 8V - 10V; 1A - 2A. This is a pretty big range, and I think it is causing the adapter to work for some people and not work for others. Mine works with my PT-1090.
Question: Why is the power output masked out/grayed out by the seller on all the pictures. Could someone please post the output power of this adapter? Thanks
Answer: It is masked out so they can use the same genaric photo for all of their products that look the same and just have different outputs. They should have masked out the tip polarity also because the one in the photo is not the same as the one you get. The output for this one is 8V-10V, 1A-2A. This is a pretty wide range, but I guess that is what you get for the money. The tip polarity is (+) on the outside and (-) on the inside. This is commonly called a "negative polarity" plug.

Answer: I take it off the head to charge. I imagine you can plug it directly into the head to change. I just find it easier to remove the battery pack and charge it on the counter.

Question: Will the xpro 300 pedestal x rocker work with this
Answer: I do not know, but it does work on my Sony Car Discman Cd player. I would think the plugins are the same? But not positive.
