Answer:	If it were me, I would not turn off the Thunderstorm warning, because Super Cell Thunderstorms can and do produce Tornadoes sometimes. Just my take on it.

Answer:	The unit is ABSOLUTELY wall mountable. Two channels in the back to hang on mounted screws. Alert tone volume cannot be changed. Radio alarm volume... yes.

Answer:	On the WR300, It turns off automatically FIVE MINUTES after the warning is done. So, at 2am, you have to listen to it blare if you don't want to get out of bed to push the button. I do not know about the WR400. The Reecom R-1630 has EOM, which turns the audio back to standby mute as soon as the message is done.

Answer:	It has the ability to run off of batteries or the included A/C adapter. Without the A/C adapter the batteries will last about a month in the monitoring mode before becoming exhausted. Answer:	In the past the clock did not change. It had to be manually changed.

Answer:	I'd guess Reecom sells them - Tel: (770) 641-9228.. The one that came with mine is a Model: A35UD1202A.. 120VAC 60 Hz 8 Watt input with a 12VDC 250mA output.. If not any power supply with a center positive symbol (google it for the picture - I can't post) with an output of exactly 12VDC and at least 250mA (amperage is taken by (or pulled) by the device being powered so anything above 250mA would be fine - personally I'd find one as close as possible - between 250mA and 500mA) and you should be good..
Question:	How long does battery last while listening to noaa radio
Answer:	I don't know where "Amazon Customer" gets his or her information but the label on the bottom of this piece of junk says it is made in Hong Kong. Reecom is an American company with decidedly non-American values when it comes to customer service; they refuse to accept any responsibility for the widespread failure of the devices. They just want to collect basically the price of the device to affect repairs. See my negative review of this device for more information.

Answer:	Yes you can. You can go through each alert and mute out the ones that you don't want. I would like to make a suggestion to you, I would also keep the severe thunderstorm alerts because a tornado could form rapidly from a severe thunderstorm plus you will get more advanced warning!Good luck Allie!

To get these information for your area, call the NWS toll free number: 1-888-NWS-SAME (1-888-697-7263), or visit the NOAA web site: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm In the above web site, search the state and county for your area and then write down the Channel (Frequency) and county code(s). Question:	An ongoing issue - beyond yesterday's - I awoke today to find that the CL-100 had lost the correct time and date. It is set to automatically update
Answer:	Yes, the radio allows setting for both county specific and alert types. For example I have Tornado for my county and immediate county west (I live near the boarder between two counties) to audible alarm, but have Severe Thunderstorm Warning for my county to light alarm only (no sound). Then I have the alarm for flooding turned off as I am not in a flash flood prone area. This alert type specific alarming is the primary reason I purchased this radio. During spring storms even well after the Tornado risk was gone, non alarm type specific weather radios would continue to go off all night with various flooding alerts.
Question:	For quiet office use, can the volume be set very, very low? Will the "Alert Off" switch stop ALL sound alerts
Answer:	When AC power goes out, with 4 'AA' size fresh Alkaline batteries, as listening to NOAA radio, depending on the audible volume level setting, or speaker loudness, the batteries can last for more than 50 hours at reasonable audible volume (usually medium volume). It can last for about 30 hours (at max. volume 24) to 65 hours (at volume 3 or below).
Question:	Will this radio turn off after the alert message had played? I have a different one that stays on after the alert message
Answer:	The unit does not contain any holes or bracers necessary for wall mounting. The back is flat, so 3M strips (a lot of them) might work, but I would advise just putting it on a shelf.

Question:	Can the volume of the alarm be changed?I am afraid of disturbing other people
Answer:	The LCD display can be dimmed or turned off completely for sleeping. I keep the display off. How well you can read the display from bed will depend on the height of your bed relative to the radio. I do not find the slightly upward angle of the display difficult to read from bed. Tapping the select button turns on the LCD display briefly if you have set it to be dim/dark.
Question:	Does this track hurricanes
Answer:	I had a similar issue, with a difference. My clock lost RDS clock time for a while; it went insane, with a year like 2048. So I switched to manual, and it still had a problem. It thought the current day of week according to the date was four days in the past. So Thu was Mon according to this thing, which impacts my weekday-vs-weekend alarm days. I had to manually set a wrong date to get the correct day of week. I lived with that for a while, but I still had days where the alarm wouldn't wake me. One last effort to make this work before I scrap the machine... I found rdslist.com, and used one of the RDS stations listed for my area. The clock is now showing the right date and day.
Question:	Can I review the previous information
Answer:	If you slide the switch from "on" (red) to off, the WX radio will no longer be in standby mode and therefore will not monitor for or sound any transmitted alerts (this defeats the whole purpose of having a WX alert radio, doesn't it?). Instead, use the "defeat siren" feature to silence all but the most essential alerts. Also, set the alert feature to "voice" mode so that the siren and radio shut themselves off in short time whenever an alert IS issued.
Question:	How do I know what my county code is
Answer:	Yes, in the "Voice Alert" mode, the Sangean CL-100 turns off the voice alert after about 10 minutes. If you choose the "Siren Alert" and it is activated, it turns itself off after about 4 minutes. The colored lights and the alert message on the screen remain on until the alert expires or is cancelled.

The 4-way power is this: it has a handle you can turn to charge it, that's 1; it has a solar panel for charging, that's 2; it has a lithium ion (or something) battery that you can plug into the wall to charge, that's 3; and you can also put 3 AA batteries in it to power it, that's 4. 4-ways to charge it. I liked this radio, but wish I had bought the digital one for a few bucks more.
