Question:	Which 6v adapter fits this radio
Answer:	Since it uses two 1.5 volt batteries in series, it is clear that it runs on 3 volts. If it works with rechargeables, then it will work on as little as 2.5 volts. Any adapter with the right size connector, AND THE CORRECT TIP POLARITY, that puts out the correct voltage, will work. If you get the reverse tip polarity, it either won't work with that adapter, or it will fry the radio.

Answer:	Yes. Not the best in the world but it does have a speaker. Hard to make a unit this compact with top notch audio. Still, it's good for casual listening.

Answer:	IMHO... Best sounding would be Tecsun PL880 but, at an expense. Near excellent performer in all categories (reception & price included) and heir apparent to the GE SuperRadios, would be the CCRadio EP. Its successor, CCRadio EP Pro, may go it one better with DSP processing, if... the kinks have been worked out as promised. CCRadio 2E takes the EP to full digital but, at an expense. The Eton/Grundig Executive Satellit is the most capable, bang for buck, good reception and not bad sounding. The CCRadio Skywave SSB has oustanding reception and WB/WX, at an expense. Honorable mention to the Sangean HDR-14, with outstanding AM/FM (both SD & HD radio) reception and, sound ported thru earphones or powered speakers yields the HD radio quality experience.

Answer:	The MANUAL WARNS not to charge more than 8 hours. I take operating manuals at their word, as the manufacturer knows what electronic components are used and where a danger point is to start a fire. I would heed the warning and not leave it plugged in all the time. Your house may be converted to ashes.

Question:	How is this model FRX2 for $35 different from the one for $43.30? I noticed one says it's by Eton and the other says it's by Grundig
Answer:	It recharges much faster by hand cranking...about a minute of that gives you 7 minutes of full volume radio...which is pretty loud. Direct sunlight, for 10 hours, will completely charge the battery, though. I realise that's not a very helpful conversion, since a full charge is certainly more than 7 minutes. That's the only comparison I saw in the instructions.
Question:	What's the capacity of the inbuilt battery? Alternately, how long will the radio play at a moderate volume on a full charge? Thanks
Answer:	The rechargeable batteries in mine last about 8 hours on a full charge with the radio playing. When I use alkaline batteries I get about 20 hours of play time.
Question:	Will this charge an iPhone 5s from the hand crank
Answer:	I have no idea. Note it recharges by use of a hand crank so does it really matter?
Question:	Does it take an AC adapter
Answer:	It doesn't turn off. It is meant to run a clock which always shows on the screen. Otherwise you can turn off all the other features like radio, charging, etc.

Answer:	This is garbage. It does not play CDs without odd playback problems. If it had actually worked, it would still be overpriced considering the size. This is my third boombox CD player in the last 30 days. I keep sending them back to Amazon because they are all unplayable junk. I don't know if it's related to the Chinese trade war or if China just forgot how to make a CD player. I'm still looking for a quality (by quality I mean anything that will correctly play CDs) replacement for my last portable stereo which was an awesome Craig Electronics CD Boombox with AM/FM Stereo Radio.
