| Answer: | It is still an analog radio with a DSP circuit (I believe) that captures digital signals. I would say analog because there is no digital display in it and it is good on locking stations. However, if you still want the basic analog radio battery operated like this one, you may go with the sony ICF-F10. It is already discontinued and still on stock in amazon and it uses 2 D cells.
