Answer:	It's more powerful so expect louder sound, and they have changed to what is now called party boost. That means it will not work to connect to older JBL series with JBL connect +, design has changed with a bit of a sleeker look. If you own previous JBL product that use connect + and something that you think you would utilize that is one way. If this is your first product for portable speakers totally worth it so you can use the newer products together coming out. Hopefully this helps. Answer:	Hello, This speaker system is the best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker I ever heard or owned and plenty of volume. The problem with mine was, it just quit about 6 months after I got it. I called Altec Lansing and they told me how to reset it and I did. It didn't last even a few minutes. I didn't get any other help from them after that and just had to throw it away in BRAND NEW CONDITION except for the quitting. It was never dropped or never got wet, and looked like I just purchased it. I was pretty pissed off as they didn't seem to care at their customer service number. I had to wait several years before I bought one, believe it or not, due to financial concerns, and when I did get it I was very impressed with it. I'd heard it several years before I got it and decided to wait to get one instead of buying a less expensive one. A relative told me once, "we're not rich enough to buy cheap things". Made sense as I wouldn't have to buy one again IF I bought the right one instead. Big mistake. As far as sound? The best small one I've ever heard.

Answer:	If your audio out is connected to your transmitter, you should be able to control that volume after changing settings in your tv’s menu. Under audio options, you should be able to turn off external speakers and control the digital audio. But I would suggest a soundbar rather than the extra steps.

Answer:	One speaker is the main. It will receive the Bluetooth signal and send it to the other speaker through the red and black wires that come with it. Only one device to pair to your phone.

Question:	What is the range of this speaker? If I walk away with my phone that’s connected to it how far away am I able to walk away
Answer:	I find it can be up to 15 feet, as long as there is a clear line between the speaker (i.e.- you are in your kitchen, its in the living room). Also, I have found that if you are doing cleaning around the house, if you start to have jumps in the sound, just move the speaker somewhere closer to you, as it is not needing to be plugged in to operate. I find that I only need to charge it every other week or so, just make sure that you don't have a slog of devices trying to connect simultaneously, as that can interfere with the connectivity.

Answer:	Make sure that you set your phone's bluetooth connection to phone and not just media-only. Different steps for different devices, but on my Android phone, I hit the sprocket-looking icon and select the bluetooth device (in this case, the JBL) and turn on the "Call audio" option (Media audio is also set to on).
