Answer:	I find it very good. I've used it at home when the room is quiet and in the car while driving on the highway and people can't tell I'm on speakerphone. The sound is great but if it's loud in the car I can't hear clearly over the other noise and people sometimes hear everything else louder than me on the other end. It's like holding the phone to your head, great in most circumstances but a good quality noise cancelling earpiece will blow it away. Oddly, people say my voice still sounds clear from startling distances.

Answer:	Based on Laura M’s comment, I already had an XB10 and ordered the XB12 and have not been able to use it as a second speaker :( ... the manual says you need to have the same model # in order to use as second speaker. I wish I had thought to read the manual for XB-12 before I bought it. I will have to return it now.
