Answer:	It's definitely not water proof, but yes, it will suffice if running from your office to the car while raining...pretty much any case will protect your device in that way. If you drop it into a puddle during said rain, that's another story.

Answer:	The other problem with this Bose case is it smells very strongly of a gasoline-like smell. I had to return mine because of the smell. I bought a Lowepro Format 110 camera case. It fits the speaker with a soft cover on, and there's room to put the base, and a zipper section on the outside of the lid where you can put the charge cord. It's bigger than the Bose travel case because it's padded, but it's also better protection and has a carry strap. It's almost a perfect fit for the speaker.

Answer:	Absolutely. You will need to use an Auxiliary cable (standard 3.5mm size, male to male connection) that will plug into the AUX plug in the speaker and into the headphone jack on the iPod. Be advised, the play/pause button on the speaker may not be functional using this option.

Answer:	Agree with superdogmom - I bought the mini color Thanksgiving 2017 - very disappointing. Sound lacks depth, a bit tinny. If quality sound is important to you, stick with the regular mini. The $50 or so price difference is worth it.

Answer:	This is interesting. The initial charge took longer than the subsequent charges. Also, it takes a couple of seconds for the indicator light to show that it is receiving a charge. That made me nervous at first thinking that I had a defect. My though is that it takes about as long as it takes to charge an IPAD using a specific charger.

Question:	does the person using this need to have wifi in their home
Answer:	I don't know the specs nor the equipment to measure. IMO it has nice deep bass and doesn't sound too "boomy" or overly heavy in any particular lower frequencies. For extra bass I usually place it in a corner - there's a vented port in the back, a hard-surfaced corner really helps it produce more bass sound. In our bathroom I turn it up rather loud in the shower, and the adjacent kitchen cupboards have rattling dishes :D

Answer:	it is enough loudness in woburn 2 to numb ear drum. also, enough bass to awaken the walking dead zombie. I have tested woburn 1 before, it is not louder than woburn 2. are you using the same device and the same music source to connect? different music recording has different loudness. it has to be apple to apple comparison.

Answer:	No. They do however have to be from 2nd gen or newer. I have Woburn 2 & Stanmore 2 coupled together in ambient mode. Sounds amazing

I have used it with an electric guitar and other portable instruments using a Behringer micro-mix. It would not be my first choice if you are looking for a true amp but for basic output it would be ok. Nice sound quality! Marshall also makes mini amps similar to this.
