Answer:	I use Phonos on Windows Phone and it does the job (if you are asking about actual Windows Mobile 6.5, then there is no app for that). The developers have worked very hard on functionality and are constantly improving it. The main shortcoming is the time it takes to connect to the Sonos network. It can take 5-10 seconds to connect which is annoying, oh, and you must remember to be connected to your local network (so turn the Wi-Fi on).Otherwise, Phone works fine and is worth the $4.99. The Android app is better, but you take what you can get.

Answer:	Christina is correct. The bridge is small and everything is easy to set up. I will say, in my opinion the Sonos 5 has superior sound quality, but the 3 is certainly adequate. I have 2 5's and one 3. After purchasing the first one with the bridge, adding the other two was as easy as plugging them in and then following the simple software instructions to add them to the group. Question:	What kind of bluetooth is it? 3.0, 4.0 or
Answer:	I don’t recall that info being included in the paperwork, a quick gander at the information on the ad itself didn’t yield any answers either. The Logitech model (identical case and lights) have reviews from 5 years ago that say it’s BT 3.0. However some have a sticker that call it item #bt4.1 🤔. Regardless, for the stereo application I have this for, the computer connects IMMEDIATELY upon power up so the low latency would make me believe that it is at least 4.0. All are backwards compatible- so- it should work regardless. Mine streams FLAC with no issue or hiccup. Sorry I couldn’t give you a direct answer- the oldest models I would believe to be 3.0, maybe 4.0, doubtful it’s 5 as this model has been for sale for quite some time already.

Question:	I have a home audio system with wall speakers. would this device allow me to give a command such as, alexa play country music in the kitchen
Answer:	Not really... Home audio systems are either one output or multiple zones. Echo Link will either play music everywhere or be limited by the zone(s) that were last selected on the audio system. ALSO be aware of what room/group you set on the Echo Link. If it's programmed as Living Room/Basement (where your home audio system input is) it won't respond to commands for the Kitchen. It's not aware of what rooms the home audio system is connected to, only itself. Hope this helps.
Question:	I have a dot connected via rca to an 80s era receiver that disappoints with dac quality and line level. is a link using analogue out so much better
Answer:	Yes. The analog outputs on the Link sound better than the dot. The Link also allows you to connect by optical digital connection if you have an external DAC for even better sound. Check out my review below for more details.

Answer:	You can play from the audio RCA inputs to an echo device or echo music group (I'm not sure about he optical inputs). After I received my Echo Link I couldn't figure out how at first. The answers to this question made me think it was not possible. The amazon support (https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GD7BG7CYVY8NWGD3) also made me doubt it was possible: "Unsupported Connections: TV/video connections Casting to Multi-Room Music from a line-in or Bluetooth input" However, I am now able to successfully play records from my record player to echo devices and echo music groups using the Line-In inputs after being provided the following advice from amazon support: You can connect your record player to the Echo Link and distribute the music to the Echos on your account using the steps below: To set up the Echo Link with line in: 1. Create a multi-room music group with your Echo Link Go to Devices> Select the + sign in the top right corner> Setup Multi-Room Music group> select the Echo Link and ALL Echos you wish to connect with. **Link must be included in the group with the other Echos** 2. Plug the RCA cable into the Line in ports on the back of the Echo Link. 3. Plug the other end of the cable into the record player. 4. In the Alexa app Go to Devices> Echo & Alexa> Echo Link> select Line in distribution 5. Select the new group you've created and select done. Once completed the music playing from the device plugged into the Echo Link with play through your Multi-Room Music Group.

Answer:	Presumably, if you are looking into buying one of these, you either have an audiophile grade separate Pre-amplifier,HT Receiver, or other type of A/V Control center, which features digital inputs and-or digital outputs. In this case, bypassing the Echo's analog outputs, as well as the Echo Link's analog outputs, in lieu of using the Echo Link's Toslink or Coaxial Digital output, allows the listener to use the superior DAC in their system component to decode lossless digital music. In my case I use a McIntosh A/V Control center with 32 bit 384hz DAC''s which are light years better than those used in the Echo and Echo Link for their analog outputs. When playing lossless files ore streaming lossless content, this will produce the best sound quality you will be able to hear, within the bounds of your home system and the music files / streaming services you subscribe to. Listening with the Echo Link digital out isn't quite MQA (Master Quality Audio, a whole entirely different animal we won't get into here) but it's bout the best you are going to hear, unless you step up the game and drop some serious coin on another type of audiophile streamer. When I want that level of quality, I play vinyl or Analog tape, or even DSD/SACD/FLAC/MQA files through a very high end headless streamer with a NAS device wired via Ethernet cables and not over WIFI. There there is a lag and quality often varies, no matter what other folks say. On a revealing system you can hear the difference when connected via Ethernet (10/100/1000 cable) versus even Gigabit wireless. If you have digital inputs. subscribe to or have access to lossless files or streaming services. Based on what I hear from my system, I strongly recommend using the Echo Link instead of the Echo or Echo Dot analog outputs. There is a not so subtle difference with lossless files and high resolution streaming. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Answer:	Before you check the warranty, make sure it's the speaker by putting it in the other channel i.e. if it is in the right channel, wire it up to the left and make sure you get the same cracking sound. I have some old amps that I had to clean up because they started producing a similar cracking sound. But, it wasn't the speaker(s). Best of luck!
