Answer:	If you are referring to the screw used at the top to tighten the umbrella in place, I believe this is a custom piece. The dimension of threads are as follows: 19/32" OD without thread, 5/8 with thread, screw length ~1.25" (note addition .5 in goes inside the handle. Threads are square cut. Question:	So how is ABS plastic stronger than metal as it says in the description
Answer:	I'm not calling it stronger, but I am calling it more suitable for the application. ABS is very durable, and has more "give" than a steel one. Therefore, if you have your umbrella anchored in an odd angle, rather than putting a dent in the metal version, this would spring back. Also, ABS won't rust like a steel one would after a season at the beach.

Answer:	I measured the inside diameter of the Beachr and it is exactly 1 1/2 inches. Your pole would most likely fit tightly but you wouldn't be able to tighten the screw very much. My umbrella pole is 1 inch in diameter so there is more room to tighten the screw to the pole. Hope this helps somewhat.

Answer:	Probably not, imo. These anchors, I believe, are intended for things like beach umbrellas... I use them for guy ropes on my ham radio antennas, but there is very little strain on the guy ropes even in strong winds. I would say it depends on how much strain you intend to put on the ropes to the tree, but I don't think I would depend on them for that application.

Answer:	I've tried them in Sand, Rocky terrain and desert sand and Rocky terrain and they worked excellent. I used them on my Browning tent with winds up to 45mph constant winds with gust up to 65mph and had no problems what so ever. They are easy to install (except in Rocky terrain) and easy to remove. I would give them a 6 star review. In beach sand I would install them as u would a tent stake, angled but I'm sure even if they were installed straight up and down wouldn't be a problem.

Answer:	Depends on a number of things...how do you plan to carry everything. We have a wonder wheels, so with that and a baby carrier I could easily manage by myself. As for sun protection, this is a great umbrella, but for a baby I recommend a tent with sides to help block the reflective sun. Take it from someone who made that mistake one time. I kept my baby under an umbrella the entire time and he still got a little burnt from the sun reflecting off the sand. We have a small tent that “pops” up and then twists back into a circle for storage, and use this umbrella primarily for the adults.
