Question:	How does this compare to sono sound bar
Answer:	It does not compare to a high end Sonos system at all. This speaker provides great audio enhancement for a 40" Vizio I have in a corner in my living room. It is compact and fits nicely in front of the TV and it has an dialog enhancer setting for those of us who struggle a bit with hearing dialog. It does not compare with the higher end Bose units with surround speakers or the Sonos high end systems which are widely considered the best, but those are for bigger rooms than I have my Bose Small Soundbar in. I am renovating a rec room on in my lower level and I intend to use a Sonos with surround speakers down there with a 55" screen where there is more room. The small Bose is a wonderful item, but not designed for large screen, large room surround systems.

Answer:	RCA to HDMI converters do not work, personally tried. The only thing that helped was an Optical-to-Coaxial or Coax-to-Optical Digital Audio Converter Adapter,Premium Bi-Directional Digital Coaxial to/from SPDIF Optical Audio Signal Converter/Repeater. I purchased one on Amazon sold by ROOFULL Inc. My tv is older, does not have an optical or HDMI ARC port. I attempted the RCA to HDMI converter and it did not work.

Question:	Can you connect your tv via wifi to thiw device
Answer:	Apple TV Airplay is supposed to work via WiFi, but like the other reviewer said “when it decides to work”, in my case only 10% of the time. I have to listen to audio via tiny projector speakers (behind me) since Bose home 500 will not connect to Airplay consistently. But it is a treat once every 2 weeks to hear movies on this speaker when it does work.

Question:	what do I need to connect these speakers to? Will a receiver work, and can I plug my computer into the receiver
Answer:	A receiver with at least 50 watts per chanel will do fine, then plug your computer to the aux imput of the receiver. Make sure you use 12 Gauge wire to conect the speakers and get the best out of them. It´s Important to leave enough room from the speakers to the rear and side wall, to make the bass port and the rear tweeter reflect their sound towards the listener. If you are going to use them in a book shelf better get the 201 and a subwoofer like a polkaudio.
Question:	What is the range of frequency response
Answer:	You raise a good question since Bose does not publish frequency response charts (probably because the results are not as smooth or wide ranging as they would like). I expected some independent tests to be published but could not locate one for the 301s. I did find a French test on the Companion 2s, which are about the cheapest and smallest stereo speakers that Bose makes. That range was 40-20,000 +-6db. I would expect the 301s to be about the same range w/ slightly lower base +- about 3db but have no way to confirm or verify any numbers. As you probably know, the DB variance is a key factor in determining valid frequency response and any number without that variance can be misleading.

Question:	Does this speaker have a latency problem? Where sound doesn't lip sync with people speaking on screen
Answer:	There's a reason for that and it isn't because you're not using enough polishing cream or not using a rough enough sandpaper. Despite the machine's claims it's up to the task, it does a terrible job of removing deep cuts, light scratches it gets the job done sometimes, but with deep scratches you run the risk of making the scratch even worse and not able to fix it if you use the more rough sandpaper pad. This also creates another problem as if you put the disk through too many polishing cycles on the machine, you could unintentionally damage the label. If it has to be done I would rather substitute the polish liquid a top quality 3M polish cream than risk it with the rough sandpaper the machine came with.
Question:	It is possible to add this bass module to acoustimass 10 for more bass
Answer:	GameCube games can be cleaned if you buy the additional part. Also works great on deep scratches and even removing the infamous 360 burn rings. I've cleaned over 1000 discs and only 1 failure to work afterwards.
Question:	is the soundtouch 300 bass module compatible with the sound bar
Answer:	It is the Easy Pro Plus. As a small Public Library, this suits our purposes. There is no need, at least for us, to do several DVD or CD cleaning at once. We have been able to buff out some issues that may have required a replacement and others are just plain old cleaning issues. We are pleased with the machine.

Answer:	Here is an excerpt the JFJ Easy Pro + instructions. "When repairing GameCube games or any other mini CD's you will need to purchase a smaller metal plate, shorter white buffing pads (completely white with one side Velcro). Note: Please do not use the sanding, and the buffing pads that originally came with the machine, otherwise, the pads will be ruined." My personal note. Get a water spritzer and keep the pads and the disc that you are repairing wet. Use short spin times and open the machine to check the progress and re-wet the discs. In my experience you need to wipe the sanding residue off the sanding pads after each 10 second spin, then re-wet and spin for another 10 seconds. Never use more than 10 seconds with the sanding discs! In my opinion you can't use to much water. Keep a sponge handy to pick up the water that collects and to wipe the sanding discs clean. I use the machine on the kitchen counter so that the sink is handy where I can rinse and squeeze out the sponge. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Answer:	Dennis, There are two methods to hook up devices. The best would be the Optical input. From your TV or other device you use a TosLink Optical Cable. The second option would be the standard Red/White (L/R) audio cable that almost all stereo equipment has. So Yes, you can hook up a CD changer directly to the Bose CineMate GS Series II system as long as it has one of those two outputs.
Question:	Does anybody know if the remote runs a Direct TV Genie? I really don't like the idea of having to use 2 remotes. Thanks
Answer:	Yes, it replaces your Direct TV remote. Hence there's no need for a second remote. Also, the remote's universal and is able to control almost all TV and Direct TV functions. Make sure you use optical cable connection to your TV for best performance. Installation is relatively easy.
Question:	How does it compaire to the newer model CineMate
Answer:	The main difference is the speakers that come with it. The Cinemate GS Series II comes with a distinct left and right speaker, while the Cinemate 15 comes with a single sound bar style speaker. It depends on what type of set you want and if you want to use brackets, etc. Also, the Cinemate GS Series II comes with a separate inferface module cable to make the connection to the external devices. The CInemate 15 has the inputs on the back of the Soundbar speaker itself, so the setup is a little cleaner (less wires). Sound quality would be similar in both systems, although you may get a little more stereo separation in the CInemate GS Series II, due to the two distinct speakers.
Question:	Are the speakers connected with wire or wireless
Answer:	Hell Don, and thank you for the inquiry. The Cinemate GS Series II is a wired speaker system. There is a wire that runs from the output of the large bass module to the two small speakers. There is also a power cord on the bass module. The small audio input interface module also connects to the bass module via a wired connection. The external source (optical output on the tv typically) also connects via an optical cable to the optical input on the small interface module.
