By the way if you didn't know this is a midi controller and cannot standalone or produce sounds without being connected to a computer or to analog/digital hardware such as a synth or drum machine.

Answer:	These keys are semi weighted. This means that when you press down on them they have light to moderate resistance when pressed and will return less springy than a cheaper synth. Think between a regular piano and a cheap synth and that's the feel you get.

Question:	Can I buy several to use simultaneously throughout the house? Like a cheap alternative to whole-house audio system
Answer:	Everyone saying no is wrong, the question is: is it worth it? Thats up to you. What you can do is this: Get a Bluetooth to aux receiver. Then get a aux splitter. Run 3.5mm aux cables to each anker speaker. Transmit to the Bluetooth to aux receiver. #done. Audio quality will be lacking as you're splitting it to 2,3,4,etc speakers and you're probably going to be running long cables which will cause loss as well. Best thing to do is get a proper sound system and wire it throughout the house with good speaker wire or get a decent system and just blast it in the middle of your house to hear it lol

The batteries in this are standard 16850s and can be replaced easily - just pry off the grill from the edges to reveal the screws retaining the speakers.

Answer:	Apple TV Airplay is supposed to work via WiFi, but like the other reviewer said “when it decides to work”, in my case only 10% of the time. I have to listen to audio via tiny projector speakers (behind me) since Bose home 500 will not connect to Airplay consistently. But it is a treat once every 2 weeks to hear movies on this speaker when it does work.

Answer:	You have an older car so you shouldn't have a problem. If your car has a socket/port for either a USB audio jack or a male 3.5mm audio jack you should be okay. If your car has Wi-Fi there are several Wi-Fi broadcasters that you can plug into the player and it should broadcast through your radio. I bought this setup to try in a new car which these days, as you probably know, doesn't come with the CD player. That drives me crazy. This unit I bought to see if it will work as it's the male jack that came with the player but the car doesn't have a female input, only a USB input. This is what I bought to see if I can bridge that gap. Zimrit 3.5mm Male AUX Audio Jack to USB 2.0 Male Charge Cable Adapter Cord 3 Feet (3.5mm Aux 3 feet). Haven't tried it yet so don't know if that works or not. But yeah, I think, as I said because of your older car, it might work for you. I can't guarantee that but it's worth a try. And the player is nicely styled too.

Answer:	I have had this system for 2 weeks without any connection issues. It operates in the 5GHz range for connection, so I would make sure that if you are running a 5GHz band on your Wifi router that you select a channel that does not interfere with it. I noticed the interference when I first set it up, changed my channel and bandwidth so it would not interfere, and has worked great since. Have not had issues with bluetooth either, but remember that bluetooth is a lower power signal, so it can loose connection when things block the line of sight. The components communicate with each other using the 5GHz signal, bluetooth is for connecting to devices (phone, echo, etc...).

Question:	Would a pair of Play1s used for rear speakers in a 5.1 set up be much different from Play3s
Answer:	I use 3's as rear speakers in my very large living room with high vaulted ceiling. But I have two pairs of 1's that I use as stereo speakers in my bedroom and workshop. In most rooms, 1's would work just fine as surround speakers in a 5.1 system. 3's have a little more oomph than 1's, but you probably won't be unhappy with either.
Question:	Has anyone compared a stereo pair of Play:1s with a single Play:5? Which option provides better sound for a large room
Answer:	The Play5 has more fidelity than S1, sound is fuller. However with the pair of S1's you will get better stereo separation since you can place them further apart. The S1 sounds better than the Play3. I own them all, so speaking from first hand experience.
Question:	How does this speaker compares to the Bose Sounlink Mini
Answer:	One point to any first-time Sonos buyers: a very big difference from the Bose Soundlink Mini is that the Sonos does NOT connect to an Echo Dot like the Bose (or any bluetooth speaker) - you only control music. If you are expecting to hear your Flash Briefing or anything else besides music out of the Sonos, you will be very disappointed. Also, for what it's worth, in my opinion, at a reasonable room-filling volume I thought the sound quality was similar.
Question:	I want a bookshelf system for a large living/kitchen/dining room with enough volume for a party of 40-50 guests. Should I get 2 Play:1s or 2 Play:3s
Answer:	If you can swing 2 Play:3s, that would be what to get. The sound is much better. Play:1 sounds great for what it is. But size and quantity matters. And whoever says that 2 Play:3s cannot be paired in stereo is completely wrong. And it depends on what kind of party this is. Is this for quiet ambience? Or is this a fun thumping party? That should help with which speakers to get. Even the Play:3 is kind of dicey for a loud thumping party.
