I do not know exactly how long the cord is because the cassette adapter stopped working within the first two weeks, and I disposed of it as hazardous waste. Answer:	It did not automatically eject for me. If you have an old cassette, insert it into your deck. If the old cassette ejects, then there's something wrong with your deck. If not, then there's something wrong with the Arsvita cassette adaptor so return it and ask for a replacement. Good luck.

Answer:	I would buy a normal cassette player rather than this one. There are several inexpensive ones that have a built in speaker or headphone plug. I would only get this one if you are trying to convert your cassette tapes to mp3 files.

Answer:	Don't use the CassetteMare software. It doesn't work. Use the Audacity software that's also provided on the CD in the package, then follow the instructions provided with the Audacity software, not the Audacity instructions in the manual provided in the package. That manual is useless. With a little effort, you can convert tapes to mp3s using Audacity.

Answer:	The cassette player itself is MAC compatible. The software that comes with it is not. You will need to use a free program called Audacity to use the cassette recorder with your MAC. After you import using Audacity, you can then either keep using Audacity, or you can use various MAC audio tools to edit the .mp3.

Answer:	Unfortunately I do not have a dashboard that can do that since its a 99 Honda Accord. It plays as a tape for me and I control it from my phone, I set it to the car mode in all of those music apps on my phone. Hope that helps you.

Answer:	Only for cars that have a cassette player were the side flap stays open. If you are trying to use it for a portible cassette palyer it will not work.

Answer:	I have another brand that does that. I leave it in and switch to FM to get it to stop. When I go back to tape it works properly without the clicking and ejecting.

Answer:	I think the question here was misinterpreted. The sound from any video you play on an iPhone/iPad/Android/etc will go through this adapter just like anything that allows sound to go to headphones. Video doesn't transmit through an FM adapter either, but the sound from a video does.
