Answer:	I’m not sure about the android as I have an iPhone XS Max and it fits with a case on it. I would recommend the case as it fit my needs. My phone, headphone case, id, & keys fit snuggly. It is a bit heavy but I attribute that to my phone & case. Not sure about life span but I imagine for the price & semi-regular it should last a good ten or so years. It’s pretty sturdy.

This balun works good in HF frequencies, between 100 Khz low band and 30 Mhz Hf band. the second point, is better for using with a long wire for the positive pole, and use the negative for a very good ground wire. I suggest to you the long wire cable #14 and as long like minimal 30 feets in distance, and in the ground pole wire #14 too in around 10 feets, to a cooper well bar or stainless steel bar ground pole. You can obtain good reception especially with Software defined radio(SDR). You can search in Ham Radio books or web, size for specific frequencies that you will use.
