Answer:	I would say it is normal. These pumps are not built for long running applications and after a few minutes they get hot. If long running is needed on a regular basis you may need a different pump. My use on 5 minutes on to refill the storage tank, then off for an extended time so it never gets very hot.

Answer:	if you are having a issue where the unit powers on and everything seems to work but you get no sound on a chrysler product. look under the hood of the car in the power distribution center for a relay named nbs-- stands for name brand speakers. you will need to take power from the blue wire in the radio harness out of the radio and feed it to the relay to power it and then you will have speakers. i suggest you take it to a local mechanic that is good with aftermarket electronics or best buy install bay and they will be able to help
