Answer: I kept the recorder but I am not happy with it. The tape seems to drag when you play music and you have to speak loud for the voice activation to kick in. There is a slide switch on the back of the unit for fast or slow tape speed..

Answer: I have a Radio Shack cassette tape recorder (14-1129 model . most of these idems do have some type of built in speaker, however their volumes are rather low. what I do is use a cord which has a plug in adapt. on either end,...the I plug 1 into the headphone port and run the other to the input on some type of speaker system and control the volume from that end. then sound becomes as dominate as that amp will allow. note that most of these gadgets today still have the same old school ear jack ports. hope this answers your question! caw

Answer: First of all, very pleased with unit and price! digital handheld recorder stores both sides of conversation, it is just a standard handheld digital recorder with unique base made especially for wiring directly between phone base and handset and recording phone conversations, (cordless phones will not work). Unsure what format info it is stored in?It does have a standard 1/8" headphone jack for output, I am sure you can connect the output to a computer and save to whatever format you desire (.WAV, MP3, etc...) and send from there.I have done the above many times with other with other digital recorders (TASCAM.... DP-07MKII and DP-004) However I have not tried this one as yet. Hope this helps!
