Answer:	The exact same thing happened to me and I almost returned it until I realized that the USB-C cable I was using was USB 3.1. When I swapped it out for a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable, I got pretty close to the full read speed of my CF Express Type B cards (about 1700mb/s in my case). The cables look identical, which is frustrating.

Answer:	Yes. I found they get ridiculously hot also in different readers e.g. Sandisk one, so I don't believe it is specific to this item. No idea why it gets so hot, even when sitting idle and not reading / writing data.

Answer:	All super fast cards get hot. CFast cards also got hot. It's the nature of their speed. If the CFexpress card didn't get hot in the reader, then the reader wouldn't be doing it's job. The cards cool off fast, though.

Answer:	Right-click the windows start (menu) icon at the lower left corner of your desktop screen. Choose "device manager". Find and click on the device (fingerprint scanner) on the list. Choose search for device driver automatically. When the windows update screen opens, click on "search for updates". Find and click on "optional updates". Find and click on the device driver for the fingerprint scanner (may be the last one on the list). Please note that I am reciting this from memory and may have left out or misnamed a step or two. I did this successfully on two computers running WIN 10 HOME and one running WIN 10 PRO. The one running PRO downloaded and installed the driver automatically. GOOD LUCK.

Answer:	The answer from DeanP66 is correct; the other three are not. While it's true that the testing tube has a color scale, that's for testing pH, not Chlorine. This test kit makes measuring Chlorine levels very accurate. Is it still pink, or is it clear? Simple. No guessing whether the color is this shade or that shade. As for the pH test (where the color chart IS on the test tube), I have to say I love how easy it is to read. With traditional test strips, I can never tell what shade of orange matches the side of the bottle, but with this kit it's always easy to see. Both the colored water and the color chart are transparent, so you look through both at the same time right next to each other. No guessing. Plus, there's a chart provided in the book that comes with the kit that tells you exactly how much pH increaser or decreaser you'll need to bring things into balance. No more back and forth from adding too much and needing to compensate back the other way. You get it right the first time every time. If you want accurate measurements with no more guesswork, this is a great kit. Plus, you get to pretend you're a doing a science experiment! Question:	Can you put this at the ball towards the hole or does it need to be at the hole facing the ball
Answer:	This device is much the same as a circular level gauge in that it will read the relative direction of the fall-off of the green only in the vicinity of the gauge's immediate local position. For instance, if you are trying to get an idea of how your putt will break in the final 12 - 24 inches before your ball reaches the hole then place this device in that location between the hole and the ball. If you believe you are looking at a "double-break" putt and want to confirm your opinion then position this device in the locations of those breaks and take readings. This best use of this device, in my opinion, is not during your round but during sessions where you walk the course, study each green using this device taking measurements from various points of reference on each green and record the data accumulated.
Question:	Can this read in slope % instead of degrees
Answer:	The BreakMaster reads slope in degrees, however there is a conversion chart on the site breakmaster.com that converts degrees to percentage of slope. This chart can be printed and taped to the side of the BreakMaster for use on the golf course.
