Answer:	Because back in the day when this Walkman was produced it could indeed tune to audio-only of the old analog TV channels (VHF, 2 - 13). As analog TV was replaced by digital this function no longer works and it only receives noise. FM and AM works. I was not able to get any WB weather band broadcast besides noise.

Answer:	No. It's a very basic deck.
Question:	What are the size dimensions of this unit, width-length-depth
Answer:	I had to pull it out of the donations for Salvation Army box and then open to measure. It's length 16.5" X width 8.5" X height 5". I think it worked for a month or at the most 3 and then it just died. It no longer powers up and I'm no electrician. Such a waste of money. I'm thinking of it as an expensive rental.
