Answer:	One at a time! 3 months ago I bought three of these. All three are now acting up! One randomly skips/crackles randomly. One requires a VERY heavy finger to depress any and all buttons - but does still work (after only 4-6 total hrs. of use) and the 3rd one won't play certain CD's at all. Burned or factory cut CD's make no difference it plays both - most but not all the time. Had I not chucked all three shipping boxes & foam, I'd return them all!

A lesson to be learned here is that with cheap prices come cheap electronics.I would not recommend this product. Even the connections for the speaker wires when inserted into the radio/cd unit don't fit tight and have to be played with to get a solid connection. The am band in my area --Long Island N.Y. is bad and you can't turn the unit around in the hopes of getting a stronger signal because of the wires for the speakers and the placement of the unit if you do get a good signal---the tuning buttons and tuner knob may not be facing you it may be facing away from you. This is my experience with this purchase. Spend more money to hopefully to get a better product.

Answer:	I know the battery will keep your programmed settings on the radio if there is a power outage. You can use the radio for a limited period of time. I keep a very small battery operated radio which uses three double A just in case.

Answer:	This Jensen is NOT easy to set up. When a person has to use three fingers to set the clock I say Send it Back. This device has a lot of features, yet even trying to set up CD play was not easy. The device makes you wait a minute and while you are waiting you wonder if it is going to work. Also, the device has to READ your CD before it can play: therefore NOT ALL CD's will play. TRY LOOKING UP: ONN ONA502 CD AM/FM CLOCK RADIO FOR ABOUT $20 HERE ON AMAZON. I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY MOM (85) AND SHE SAYS IT IS EASY TO USE.
