Answer:	I have not used them before. Normal AA size fits nicely with perhaps 3mm space to move about. If 18650 Batts are of same dimension with AA, therefore it will fit too.

Answer:	In this case, the picture is worth 1,000 words ... you get a total of 4 boxes (2 boxes sized for AA and 2 boxes sized for AAA). I've been happy with mine, makes for a lot better storage than a torn open blister pack from the store.

Answer:	I would say no since it is a microfiber case although I really like it. This is the only one that I found to hold 8 'D' batteries since they are packaged in lots of 4 when purchasing. And, the mesh zipper pouch is perfect for the disc batteries that will not fit into the slots in the case. For the price, it is worth it.
Question:	do i remove the soft sponges prior to put my batteries in the case.....i guess i am suppose to throw them away
Answer:	I left the sponges in the empty slots until I had more batteries to store. I did save them for a while but the next time I was in the case, I tossed them. If you have crafty friends, maybe they can use them for painting or the like.

Answer:	Yes, they can be reinserted. I chose to throw mine away. I have a lot of batteries in this case and do not need the inserts. For the few spots where I have no batteries I just left the inserts in place.
Question:	Will this hold 18650 Li-ion batteries
Answer:	I don't know, as I don't know how big the 18650 batteries are. I will say that the case if filled with foam cut with all of the battery sizes. If they don't fit standard battery slots, it would be easy to cut some of the holes to fit that battery. And the charger could be stored in the pockets in the cover. If they're taller than a D cell battery, though, they may not fit well. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Only if it is a small one that would fit in the space of the battery tester.

Answer:	I haven’t filled it up all the way but if I were to guess maybe 5-8 lbs. it’s substantial but nothing an adult couldn’t handle. Might be a but much for small children or the elderly with arthritis.

Answer:	Yes, this lid is designed to snap shut.
Question:	Does this case fit Enloop rechargeable batteries, which can be slightly bigger than standard disposable batteries
Answer:	The batteries fit in this thing pretty snugly, so I doubt any larger batteries would fit in it. That said, I have never used Enloop batteries, so I don't know how much bigger they are.
Question:	Does each battery sit tight in a comportment so that the batteries stay put even if there are empty spaces
Answer:	They do not "snap" into place, but there is a cradle for each so they do not roll around if the battery compartment for each size is not filled.
Question:	Hard to tell from the photo -is there enough room for more than one layer of aa and aaa batteries
Answer:	There is room for 2 layers of AA. There is a bracket which raises a single layer of AAA to the top. This bracket can be removed to allow for a second and third layer of AAA.
