Answer:	It depends on how loud you want it. I think it has a good range. We live in a small ranch style house and I turn it up while cleaning and am able to enjoy it, or I have it on for background noise while cooking. I really love this player. For the money and for as simple as a model it is, I really recommend it.

Answer:	No to both. The recording software gets installed on a computer, which is connected via USB cable to the Victrola. The CD player on the Victrola not a CDRW. There is no place to plug a USB drive on the Victrola, the USB output for a computer (with the recording software) is not a standard USB, it's like the end that plugs into a printer (type B?).
Question:	can the stylus be replaced
Answer:	I believe you can replace the stylus. a if you look closely near the stylus you can see the red plastic piece with the stylus. These are replaceable and sold on amazon as well.

Answer:	I can't tell you about your computer but I can tell you to expect crashes. Often. I've been through the blogs and helps and all that stuff and come to the conclusion that there is no fix. I am using PC with Windows 7 and Nvidia 750 Ti. I thought it would be fine for an older game but even with driver updates and all the other suggestions it still shuts down the computer. Up to you.
