Answer:	I don't have a CD of nature sounds so I can't give it a test run on that for you. There is no EQ, only EQ presets. One of them is a "Bass" preset. I don't use because it is too bassy (is that a word?). Seeing as you want it when sleeping I would think it would suit your purpose.Another option might be this guy if you can run it off a PC. Answer:	The wireless connection from our sound bar to the receiver for the rear speakers, has been solid. We have experienced absolutely no gaps or dropped connections. I did have to raise the volume for the surround speakers (do this in the soundbar settings) to the max which is 6. We are amazed at the quality of the sound. Well pleased with the purchase.
Question:	How long are the cables or can I make my own
Answer:	The speaker wires are more like 10 feet long. Both of them. If you want to run one speaker on the other side of a room, you're gonna have to splice the speaker wire to make it longer.

Question:	Can i use 4 of these and the matching center with 2 psw505 for a decent HT? 14x14 room
Answer:	Definitely yes, I have a Polk RM6750 subwoofer and 2 of this speakers with the matching center and they sound clear as water. Besides you can always lower your subs volume if its too much. Also remember the power your amp have is important, I'm using a Sony STR-DE335 amplifier which sends 100 watts per channel at 6 ohms and nothing has gone wrong yet. So far I have played music, movies and the morning news and I'm always happy about the clarity and loudness on only a 3.1 system. My guess is yours is going to sound much better with the 5.2 you are building. Nice pick and good luck with your shopping.

Answer:	Answering late...for others needing help - you need active speakers to connect directly to the turntable otherwise you will need to connect the turntable & these speakers to an amplifier.

There's a plastic bracket on the back with a keyhole slot for hanging the speaker directly from the wall, or you can use a wall mount that screws into the 1/4"-20 threaded insert below that. Note that you can technically remove the mounting bracket, and you may think you need to in order to get the mount screwed in, but you probably don't -- there's more clearance than it looks like. And the manufacturer (at least according to another question here) says you shouldn't: “The wall mount structure is part of the speaker's design, it improves the quality of the bass performance and needs to remain.”

Question:	How do these compare to the polk tl2 and tl
Answer:	I cannot compare to the tl2 or tl3 since I've never owned them. The Signature S10 replaced some Energy Take 5's that I was using for the fronts in a 5.1 system. They have much better bass extension than the Energy speakers and image exceptionally well.
Question:	Are these sold in pairs or not
Answer:	These speakers are as far as I know only sold in pairs. Mine certainly came as a pair. I find them very good for use on my office desk.

Answer:	Definitely more orange than gold. If you google image search "orange gold," the resulting pictures have the approximate shade, in my opinion.
Question:	Why does the subwoofer make a horrible sound when it's on? Even with the volume all the way down sounds like if it's getting interference and its loud
Answer:	I had the same issue. The sub needs to be on the ground and the speakers must be at a high level than the sub. This will make the sound go away.

Answer:	No the unit is not wireless.
Question:	I'm putting this in my entertainment center and wondering where should i put the sub unit for the best base sound, [enclosed or in the open]
Answer:	okay so the best way to find out where to place a sub is kinda silly but it works. place the sub where you will be sitting. then go to the corners of the room or locations where you might place the sub. where it is the loudest place it there.
