Answer:	they are designed for it! but by SB Z's design, you will get better EAX and other features by using the analog connections for games. optical bypasses a lot of SBZ's features for games. 5.1 easily! with any connection! If that is all you want it for; games, music whatever, you can use any connection you like. You use digital for music and DVDs only(IMO). These Ltec Z906 speakers have inputs for both optical and analog! but YOU provide the cables!

Answer:	We just easily connected it to our TV. Nothing extra was needed. Great sound.
Question:	How is the sounds from rear speakers? Own an older model and they satilite speakers never worked properly
Answer:	Really depends on your source but IMHO the rear speakers are best when they create an "ambient" atmosphere since DTS:X adds a lot of "virtualization" to audio. I originally thought it would be better placement having the rear speakers closer to the "observer" (at ear level) however my experience has taught me having them mounted higher and farther (while still firing straight and towards the observer) makes a better atmosphere when viewing movies.
Question:	are the sattelite speakers wireless as well
Answer:	The satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer through a provided speaker wire. The subwoofer then connects to the sound bar wireless.

Answer:	The bass is adjustable via the remote. The settings are from 0 to -10 and at its lowest is almost completely off.

Answer:	It pairs very easily and thus far I’ve never had any issues whatsoever. The sound is amazing and these relatively small speakers get very loud. Unlike some surround systems, this one actually plays your music in 5.1 instead of just the center and front satellites.

Answer:	The input options for this system is RCA, Bluetooth and optical cable. Most smart TVs have an optical output so yes, you should be able to connect it just fine. If your smart tv has a Bluetooth output, this system has a great Bluetooth.

Answer:	I am SO disappointed in these speakers. As the others have said it is NOT a true 5.1 sound system. Even though the sound is magnificent for the price, it is NOT a discrete 5.1 system. Watching a movie, the sound designed for discrete front speakers totally leaked into the back surround speakers. I wish I had known this before I purchased. Well others do now.

Answer:	My guess is that you connected to one of the TV's audio inputs instead of the audio out. There may be multiple audio inputs labeled simply AUDIO but only one pair labeled AUDIO OUT.

Answer:	The wireless connection from our sound bar to the receiver for the rear speakers, has been solid. We have experienced absolutely no gaps or dropped connections. I did have to raise the volume for the surround speakers (do this in the soundbar settings) to the max which is 6. We are amazed at the quality of the sound. Well pleased with the purchase.
Question:	How long are the cables or can I make my own
Answer:	The speaker wires are more like 10 feet long. Both of them. If you want to run one speaker on the other side of a room, you're gonna have to splice the speaker wire to make it longer.

Answer:	The q300 are the nicest midrange speaker Ive heard. Clear as a bell. Detailed. Cymbals crash but they also sizzle. Every note is right there. Dont expect much bass. They need to be paired with a powered Sub in my opinion but it depends on the room size to.
Question:	How wide is the sound bar? What is the dimension
Answer:	I tried two amps so far with my q300: an old Yamaha AVR receiver, and the Outlaw Audio RR2150 I got to replace the Yamaha. The speakers did sound very nice with the Yamaha, and we re an obvious improvement over the old Infinity IL10 pair I had before. Bi-wiring helped too. Once I connected the Outlaw receiver, the sound improved considerably. Again, the bi-wiring helps, in my opinion. Both highs and bass are nice and clean, the mids are very responsive, and stage is very open. I chose the Outlaw RR initially because it is matching the Q300's power requirements (RR is rated at 100W per channel at 8ohms, but actually output more), and can moderate the brightness of Q300 nicely without muddling the sound. The combination is very powerful: I never turn the RR's sound level knob past 10 o'clock position, usually it is at 9 o'clock position with a nice and full sound. RR also has some minimal EQ capabilities, as well as able to provide bass boost (+ 6 Db) at three Hz thresholds. Also, RR has a sub woofer output, that I may planning to utilize to extend the bass: it is very good on the Q300 as is, but from what I read online passing the very low frequencies to an external sub cleans up mids a bit. I have not tried it yet, but the RR is supposed to have a very nice sub woofer management controls. RR also has USB input option, which is fairly good on its own, but an external DAC (I use Arcam rDAC) is a great improvement, and it also allows for optical input from my CD player that RR is lacking. So far I am very happy with the Q300/RR 2150 combination.
Question:	What is the dim. of the subwoofer? can it be laid flat? are their any controls on sub
Answer:	I run these on 16 solid state watts and am very happy. This is full discussion on its own if you look this up on the internet you will want to look at the numbers for sensitivity. This is the DB level based on one watt at one meter distance (Measurement Standards are a whole different topic). This will lead you down different path in understanding that loud is not based on watts alone. If you are into loud this may not be the speaker for your set up as that even with a Chronos Magnum tube amp these were still a tad tame (Very Clear, Very Nice, High Quality, but your average Judas Priest fan would not approve). I love mine even bought a second set - good luck

Answer:	This sound bar does not support Dolby audio. Most newer Tv's within the last 5 years or so use Dolby audio. In order to get this to work, you have to switch the sound settings in the TV to standard audio. Then it sounds like a tin can. Do not buy this soundbar if you are looking for it to worl and sound good at the same time.
