| Answer: | Yes. I have the soundbar hooked up to a 2009 Samsung TV via the optical cable (my TV does not have soundconnect). The soundbar turns off automatically after not receiving a signal for 5 minutes. It turns on again when the TV is turned on. Make sure you have the "auto power" function turned on (you can use the button on the remote...green light = on; red light = off). |
