Answer:	The height of the speaker is just under 3" ~ 2-7/8". I use the one I have with a Samsung 32" tv so put a 2X6 under the TV "feet" to solve the problem that concerns you. The unit is well made and is a sound quality improvement for my TV - HOWEVER it has no bass speaker FYI.

Question:	Does the soundbar come on when the tv comes on
Answer:	Not that I know of. I always turn it on manually. I use the bluetooth feature for music in my garage more than for the TV.
Question:	Would this work to be inside playing music yet hear it outside this summer
Answer:	I think it would depend on how far away you get from the house. I know our volume is always cranked up high every morning when we turn the system on high, and I am sure it could be heard outside. We have never turned it up any higher to test out the distance you would be able to hear it at.

Answer:	Yes it works with the TV but does not work with the 4k firestick program so I can use the 4k remote for the volume.

Answer:	Try this. Turn the TV volume to Zero. THEN go to TV SETTINGS - AUDIO - SPEAKERS - SET TO Off. Now get out of settings and go back to normal TV viewing. Adjust volume with the Sound bar.

Question:	Are hdmi and hdmi arc the same thing
Answer:	HDMI & HDMI ARC are not the same. HDMI is only one-way communication. So sound and audio can only travel one way at a time. HDMI ARC is bidirectional so, for example, you can connect your arc compatible a/v receiver or soundbar to the HDMI ARC port of the tv and you can pass audio and video from the soundbar to the TV.
