Question:	What in your opinion is the best power setting for normal use, "on" or "auto" for this unit
Answer:	I would say depends if you use the item everyday/constantly as your sound for your surround. Or if you use surround/theater occasionally. If the latter I would use `on/off` , if you use it often or primarily the auto would be the way to go in my opinion. Plus is the sub easy to get to? Auto is great if its behind furniture or out of reach,etc.

Answer:	Just to clarify something a previous reviewer stated: "Note: If you are using a Sub out/LFE connection from your receiver turn the Low Pass all the way up. " This does not apply to receivers with which you can specify the low-pass cutover frequency. For example, my modest Onkyo receiver has cutover settings of 80/100/120 HZ for the LFE/Sub output. If you have this option, you should consult your main speaker's manual for suggested low-pass settings or simply tune them by ear. For my setup, 120 HZ was both the recommended and best-sounding cutover frequency. 160 HZ was a little muddy :)
Question:	Can this sub be added to a Vizio 2.0 sound bar, for small to medium-sized HDTV's? If not, what should I get? For TV/Games/Music
Answer:	Like John, I too have a Vizio 2.0 sound bar and this pairs very well. I have a small theater room (10 x 20) and this one 10" fills the room. This sub is the best bang for the buck you can get.
Question:	Do I need a Y-adpater? A sound tech told me one sub wire would do the trick and just plug it into the L and ignore the R. Is this true
Answer:	Initially, used a one wire connection. Sounded OK, but .... Got a "Y" connector, attached at the rear of the amp, ran L & R wires to the PSW10: sounds amazing now and very adjustable. Need to get the PSW12 to get a one wire connection. Am very satisfied with this sub and would recommend it. Used in a 12' X 20' room, front/back/center and now the sub. Tom

TL1600 Blackstone in Use

In our large home theater room the small TL1600 multi-channel system seems almost a little lost. We treated, set up and calibrated the compact speaker system with the same attention as we would with a full-size high-end surround system, to sound as optimal as possible and to really see and hear what it could do. After several hours of burn-in, the Polk Audio TL1600 was ready to prove itself in movie mode. We put ‘The Hobbit‘ trilogy in the blu-ray disc tray and let the special effects of Smaugs wings and roaring fire blast our ears. Admittedly, the subwoofer doesn't dive into the deepest end of the bass pool, but it does a much better job in the upper layers of the bass, which it plays in our room with vigor and precision. To our surprise, the inconspicuous satellites sounded powerful and very balanced without emphasizing individual frequency ranges, even when playing at absurd volume levels. Fine details are well resolved and are easy to spot in even the busiest battle.

TL1 Satellite Speakers & Center

The four very compact TL1 satellite speakers can be discreetly integrated into most homes due to their small dimensions. On the back is a keyhole bracket with which the speaker can be mounted on a wall. Alternatively, you can use the speakers on a shelf or on a suitable stand. Due to the curved shape and molded ridges on the inside of the cabinet, the compact speakers are sufficiently sturdy and stable. As a special feature, the 'Time lens technology', the tweeter is slightly recessed to bring the acoustic centers of the midrange and tweeter on the same spatial plane. The identical satellites are full two-way systems, each equipped with a 65 mm woofer and one 13 mm silk dome. The center speaker have similar features as the satellites, however, the center speaker is for horizontal installation and has two midrange drivers. On the back you'll find an aperiodic-tuned bass reflex port to optimize and push the bass range slightly.

TL1600 Active Subwoofer

To support the satellites in the bass, Polk Audio include an active down-firing subwoofer suitable for rooms up to 70 square feet. Using the 100-watt active amplifier on the back of the subwoofer in combination with a long-stroke 200mm bass driver, the TL1600 generates plenty of momentum from about 45 Hertz. The equipped amplifier allows for infinite adjustment of the cut-off frequency of 80 to 160 Hz and the phase can be adjusted 180 degrees with a switch. High feet with rubber ends decouple the subwoofer from the floor and create the necessary distance to the floor, allowing the driver to move smoothly and breathe. The downward firing vented port is not susceptible to interfering flow noise due to the large diameter.

Question:	All I hear from sub is a low growly static type sound. Anyone else have this issue
Answer:	My set up is 4ohm cerwin vega front speakers and 8ohm center and surround. Denon reps said to keep at 8ohms because going lower will degrade the quality of the sound. However, big however. My unit has a good heat handling system and a safety cutoff in case the 4ohms overpower the units capability. My Denon has shutdown on two of my bluerays when the low frequency sounds are too loud and constant. Speakers lower than 8ohms produces more heat, so you need good ventilation. if system is set at 8ohms. I've added a small external fan in case it produces too much heat. But normally, my unit stays pretty cool at 8ohms. My front speakers at three way so a lot of the sound comes out of the mid-range unless the frequency is low. The unit has to be a good unit. I recommend that you do some research and see how much power your AVR runs at. Answer:	Hello... When matching speakers you want to get the specs close. Klipsch F-20, very nice speaker by the way. Frequency Response 38Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 95.5dB @ 2.83V / 1m Polk Audio CS10 Center Frequency Response 53Hz-25kHz SENSITIVITY 91 dB The Klipsch will be a little louder then the Polk with a little wider frequency response. Your Yamaha receiver can adjust the center channels out put to blend in the center a little more so you can hear it. Also you want to look at the RMS watts. Polk is 125watts RMS. Klipsch is only 100watts RMS. Yamaha RX-V375 AV is 100watts per channel, 70watts RMS x 2 channel. So the out come, you should be fine. your mids and highs will be better with the Klipsch towers. You will have a little more lows from the Polk, but that could make the vocals from the center channel sound more natural. Also your receiver can adjust if you use the microphone to self adjust instead of doing it by ear. It will be fine.. Should sound good and I think you would be happy..

Answer:	Yes you can program it to lock itself after 30 seconds of being unlocked without connecting it to any apps. Instructions: first you must know your programming code Press schlage and enter the programming code followed by the command Commands: To add new user: programming code + 1 then new users code twice To Delete a users code: programming code + 2 then the code to be deleted twice To activate or deactivate the 30 secs lock: programming code + 9 To delete all codes: programming code + 6 To mute or unmute the keypad: programming code +5 To change the length of the security codes (all user codes have to be the same length) programming code + 8 then the number of digits you would like the code to be, twice (ex: to make it a 6 digit code, enter programming code + 8 + 6 + 6) then you proceed to add the new 6 digit code
Question:	Polk support, you typically answer: Many households use multiple device frequencies ..could your wireless surrounds be unstable accordingly
Answer:	I suggest you buy the encode. You won’t need to buy anything additional. It’ll connect to your WiFi and you download the amazon key app and you’re all set. With the connect you need to purchase a Samsung smarthings device. The price looks cheaper but in the long run it comes out the same. I bought the connect and quickly returned for the encode. So much nicer
Question:	Will these work with a vizeo soundbar useing Bluetooth
Answer:	Sorry could never get it to work, even with several calls to their support team due to using Google Fi which switches between network providers. Also if your router has 5g and 2g WiFi capabilities you'll need designat a 2g channel for the Lockdown unless they have upgraded the device to work with 5g. To answer your question, as I recall the internal battery in the device provides backup power for about a day, it's not designed to be the primary power source. You should have a 120V power source inside your valt or safe. Lockdown has a good idea but needs a major software update to work anything than a basic simple 2g home router.

Question:	Whats the ideal screws to use to hang on a concrete wall
Answer:	I didn’t wall mount my speaker it’s sitting in a home entertainment cabinet. To wall mount in concrete you will need to drill holes in the concrete using a masonry drill bit the recommended size for the concrete wall anchors you will be using, you will put the screws into the anchors. Make sure the head of the screw will fit through the mounting hole on back of speaker. Mounting hardware kits (screws, anchors and drill bits ) are available at your Local hardware store. Of course you will need a drill, screwdriver and hammer (to use in inserting the wall anchor)
Question:	Is the signature s35 compatible with rti a7 floor standing speakers? i want to use the s35 for center channel or is another speaker better for the rti
Answer:	I think completely compatible. I use it for a center speaker. It is really nice.
Question:	Can i used this with marantz sr5012 and martin logan esl hybrid 8 i worry about tone of the voice be diferrent
Answer:	90% of the voices are coming out of the center channel, you should not notice a difference, but personally, I would stay with Martin Logan's center channel and stick with their quality.
Question:	Every speaker brand strives to be neutral, so why should there be tonal mismatches? Why must I buy a center of the same brand
Answer:	In my experience most speakers have their own tonal quality however that does not mean speakers from different manufacturers or even different models by the same manufacturer will not sound good together. I use my Polk S35 center channel speaker with four Bose 301 series speakers and a Polk PSW505 subwoofer to make up my home theater system. They sound great together and much better than it did with my original Bose center channel.
