Question:	How do these connect to a 3.5mm Jack
Answer:	Before mounting: 1. Loosen the upper nut that secures the roof mounting stud to the base. 2. This will raise the "ball" out of the base. Loosen until the ball is clear of the lip of the base. (you don't have to completely remove the nut: I didn't.) 3. Remove the screw on the side of the ball. 4. One semisphere of the ball will now separate from the other. 5. Rejoin the semispheres with the antenna in the desired position. (I think this is obvious, but insert the teeth in one semisphere into the recesses in the other.) 6. To reassemble, reverse steps 1 - 3.

Question:	What in your opinion is the best power setting for normal use, "on" or "auto" for this unit
Answer:	I would say depends if you use the item everyday/constantly as your sound for your surround. Or if you use surround/theater occasionally. If the latter I would use `on/off` , if you use it often or primarily the auto would be the way to go in my opinion. Plus is the sub easy to get to? Auto is great if its behind furniture or out of reach,etc.
Question:	Does this speaker have a volume control? Thanks
Answer:	Just to clarify something a previous reviewer stated: "Note: If you are using a Sub out/LFE connection from your receiver turn the Low Pass all the way up. " This does not apply to receivers with which you can specify the low-pass cutover frequency. For example, my modest Onkyo receiver has cutover settings of 80/100/120 HZ for the LFE/Sub output. If you have this option, you should consult your main speaker's manual for suggested low-pass settings or simply tune them by ear. For my setup, 120 HZ was both the recommended and best-sounding cutover frequency. 160 HZ was a little muddy :)
Question:	Can this sub be added to a Vizio 2.0 sound bar, for small to medium-sized HDTV's? If not, what should I get? For TV/Games/Music
Answer:	Like John, I too have a Vizio 2.0 sound bar and this pairs very well. I have a small theater room (10 x 20) and this one 10" fills the room. This sub is the best bang for the buck you can get.
Question:	Do I need a Y-adpater? A sound tech told me one sub wire would do the trick and just plug it into the L and ignore the R. Is this true
Answer:	Initially, used a one wire connection. Sounded OK, but .... Got a "Y" connector, attached at the rear of the amp, ran L & R wires to the PSW10: sounds amazing now and very adjustable. Need to get the PSW12 to get a one wire connection. Am very satisfied with this sub and would recommend it. Used in a 12' X 20' room, front/back/center and now the sub. Tom

I am currently using them in a 7.2 Atoms setup and they knock it out of the park. If you are truely looking for 1-1 studio monitors, Yahmaha is they way to go but have your checkbook ready. ;)

Answer:	Definitely yes, I have a Polk RM6750 subwoofer and 2 of this speakers with the matching center and they sound clear as water. Besides you can always lower your subs volume if its too much. Also remember the power your amp have is important, I'm using a Sony STR-DE335 amplifier which sends 100 watts per channel at 6 ohms and nothing has gone wrong yet. So far I have played music, movies and the morning news and I'm always happy about the clarity and loudness on only a 3.1 system. My guess is yours is going to sound much better with the 5.2 you are building. Nice pick and good luck with your shopping.

Answer:	It doesn't have any video output. I do have to say that they are not very good for sound. My Television speakers are louder than these were. I would not recommend this system for an area larger than 100 square feet.
