Question:	can I paint it with my wall color
Answer:	This is a good question to ask Polk direct. When you receive this system out of the box, It's already program from the factory to react within it'self. In the instruction that comes with the system it does mention these codes can be change. Be safe and ask the pro's who design the system.

Answer:	After struggling and struggling with this same feature (I live in a college town. The college kids were using the unsecured hotspot created by the magnifi to make wifi telephone calls, thus blocking my phone and using up all my router bandwidth ) I found a solution. I unplugged the magnifi, put it in a box, and threw it in the town dump. I then went out and bought a new sound bar that cost 1/2 as much as the Polk that could only be updated when I specifically wanted to update it. I found this to be the perfect solution to a problem the polk WILL NOT fix, WILL NOT assist the customer when asked for help either thru their customer support or their technical support. Now I go around telling anyone who will listen the absolute truth about the lack of support I got from polk. You can do this also.

Answer:	The unit itself has an overall width of 14 1/2". The door is the same width, so when the door is open flush against the wall, the total span of space used is 29". However, the door does not have to open flush against the wall for the ironing board to be used. The door just needs to be able to open past the front of the unit, allowing the board to come down flat.

Answer:	A cabinet speaker like the RP-250S is a bit more efficient more detailed in the highs with more speakers in it and fuller sound, but the R-5650-S II is a great in-wall surround with good premium level sound that is a good solution when you don't have the space on the outside of the wall or just want less visible speakers in your system. Both have a wide dispersion of sound which is what you want in a surround.

Answer:	I'm assuming you mean Klipsch r-5850-wii. Those will sound mich better for your fronts than the 5650-sii. The 5650-sii are for side and rear surround sounds.

Question:	Micca doesn't make towers with 8 inch drivers. I was thinking of buying these and building wooden towers using mdf or something. Bad idea
Answer:	If you are wanting a two way system with a single 8" and tweeter, it should work fine. I'd stay away from any kind of venting unless you have reliable Thiel-Small parameters, but I would definitely recommend stuffing the box with AcoustiStuff or similar. I don't recall if Micca published T-S numbers for the woofer, but since it's made to go in a wall, I presume it's designed for a fairly forgiving infinite baffle alignment. Good luck!

Answer:	I went with 8" for front right and two rears and the dual 5.25 for center. If I were to do it again I would have done two 8s for the center. The duals sound good but need a little more of the lower frequencies

Answer:	I'm using 4 of the 8" as Atmos speakers in a 7.1.4 configuration. I'm very happy with them as Atmos speakers.

Answer:	Its been a while since I installed mine but I do recall the instructions telling you to allow a moderate amount of space around the speaker; something like 1 foot by 1 foot. You do not specifically need a speaker box but your ceiling construction will affect the acoustics so if you find you have no bass, you may need some type of enclosure or baffle behind the speaker. I have four of these speakers installed in a 8 foot flat ceiling which has my attic space open to it and they sound great; one speaker mounting hole is secured to a 2x4 attic beam and the remaining mounting holes are secured to just the drywall. I left the fiberglass insulation in the attic so that it rested on the back of the speaker and again, the speakers sound really good. I also have a 10 inch subwoofer in the living area to handle the real low-end sound but these speakers provide a solid thump which sounds great.

Answer:	It would be most beneficial to have some type of baffling or waterproof material surrounding this unit. That would provide both better bass response and, in case of a leak, your investment would stand a better chance of surviving.

Answer:	I mounted mine into an angled ceiling cavity which had existing insulation. This provided enough sound deadening material but the insulation does not touch the actual speakers themselves. These are by far the best sounding speakers I've ever installed, so the installation seemed to have worked well.

Answer:	I have 1-5502;2-5650 and 2-5800 in my home theatre and they sound great. But they're all made in China. I doubt you will find better ones made in the USA right now because all companies have been out sourcing their products to reduce cost and get better returns. I dont think anybody invested in high end technology to mass produce a good quality item here in America that the common folk like me can afford. If you do find a better speaker made in the USA at a similar price, let me know.I will get them too. However , Magnepan does make high end floorstanding MMG speakers but not as affordable and not in wall.

This is a center channel speaker for a home theater system and the Angle 3 Plus is a wireless Bluetooth speaker meant for taking around and not being part of a surround system. If you get only 1, get the angle 3 because you won’t be able to do much with this unless you’ve got a receiver and the rest of the speakers for a surround setup

Answer:	I just took a square and a 45degree angle square and measured. it moves 15 degrees from center in all directions on mine.... Hope that helps.
Question:	What are the cut out dimensions
Answer:	A set of drawings has been added to the product listing. The cut-out size for this product should be approximately 9 3/4" x 13 7/8". The speaker does have trim gives a clean appearance when cut to the cut-out dimensions and properly installed.
Question:	I am replacing a speaker that has a 10 inch cutout, will this work82AC
Answer:	Hi, thank you for asking. The hole is only about 3/8” too big for the 82C., but should work if your measurement is right. Make sure to center the speaker in the hole as you tighten it in. The whole is about 3/8” too small for the 82ac speaker. If you expand the hole size with the template included, the 82ac will work fine.
Question:	Can I use these for atmos speakers in my ceiling
Answer:	I did, just make sure you use a stud finder before you drill or cut holes. If its a single story or the top floor get in the attic and make sure its between the ceiling joists. I put a hole that had a rafter in the way. Then I had to move the speaker and patch the sheetrock.
