Answer:	Yes. We put a speaker selector on it and have it wired to 2 sets of speakers. 1 set has 2 speakers and 1 set has 4 speakers.

Answer:	Hi sounds like you dont want to see the tranformer , with cable running down the wall. What I did with mine if you know about wiring electrical and things like that I cut the wire from my Transformer to the unit and I made it longer and I run a wire up into my attic where I have a light switch with a plug .plugged in the transformer ,made the wire longer so now it's a hard wire unit basically that's what it looks like because all you see is just the unit in the wall with the faceplate no wire sticking out of it and that's how I did mine don't know if you have access to your attic and if you have a light up there with an outlet but that will be the best way to have a clean job for it, hope this will help a bit, also to your question, this unit comes with a 120v to 12 volt dc converter
Question:	Can I use this for two source inputs and one output? IE: Channel A = (inA, comA = Chromecast); Channel B = (inB, comB = other source); out=speakers
Answer:	I assume you are referring to the bluetooth name. I have 6 units, they all use the same name, but that isn't a problem, because they don't advertise unless you push the volume knob. After you pair each one, rename it on your phone, no need to rename on the receiver, the phone can tell them apart. So if you have previously paired to a phone, when you turn the unit on it will try to reconnect to its existing paired device. If you want to pair to a new device, press the volume knob while you are scanning for devices from your phone, then rename it in bluetooth settings on your phone after it is paired. The only time you are going to have an issue is if you press the volume knob on 2 devices at the same time, you wont know which is which, but since you probably cant be in 2 rooms at once to do that, shouldn't ever be an issue, and whichever one it pairs to, you can rename to distinguish which is which..

Question:	can I paint it with my wall color
Answer:	This is a good question to ask Polk direct. When you receive this system out of the box, It's already program from the factory to react within it'self. In the instruction that comes with the system it does mention these codes can be change. Be safe and ask the pro's who design the system.

Question:	Do you need a subwoofer for these speakers? Or do they sound ok without it
Answer:	After struggling and struggling with this same feature (I live in a college town. The college kids were using the unsecured hotspot created by the magnifi to make wifi telephone calls, thus blocking my phone and using up all my router bandwidth ) I found a solution. I unplugged the magnifi, put it in a box, and threw it in the town dump. I then went out and bought a new sound bar that cost 1/2 as much as the Polk that could only be updated when I specifically wanted to update it. I found this to be the perfect solution to a problem the polk WILL NOT fix, WILL NOT assist the customer when asked for help either thru their customer support or their technical support. Now I go around telling anyone who will listen the absolute truth about the lack of support I got from polk. You can do this also.

Answer:	Hello Lakkos,Unfortunately, we do not sell the Gold Lion KT88's any longer on Amazon. And as an FYI, most likely you are looking for sets of the Gold Lion 12AX7's for the left and right channels of your amp. So in other words, there wouldn't be much benefit to matching all 5 pcs the same in the preamp section. It could save you some money if you go with someone for everything. Answer:	The unit itself has an overall width of 14 1/2". The door is the same width, so when the door is open flush against the wall, the total span of space used is 29". However, the door does not have to open flush against the wall for the ironing board to be used. The door just needs to be able to open past the front of the unit, allowing the board to come down flat.

Answer:	It would be most beneficial to have some type of baffling or waterproof material surrounding this unit. That would provide both better bass response and, in case of a leak, your investment would stand a better chance of surviving.
Question:	What is recommended to cover the back of these speakers once you have your cut-out and mounting figured out
Answer:	I mounted mine into an angled ceiling cavity which had existing insulation. This provided enough sound deadening material but the insulation does not touch the actual speakers themselves. These are by far the best sounding speakers I've ever installed, so the installation seemed to have worked well.
Question:	Made in the USA
Answer:	I have 1-5502;2-5650 and 2-5800 in my home theatre and they sound great. But they're all made in China. I doubt you will find better ones made in the USA right now because all companies have been out sourcing their products to reduce cost and get better returns. I dont think anybody invested in high end technology to mass produce a good quality item here in America that the common folk like me can afford. If you do find a better speaker made in the USA at a similar price, let me know.I will get them too. However , Magnepan does make high end floorstanding MMG speakers but not as affordable and not in wall.

Question:	How many watts can these speakers handle
Answer:	20-100 watts RMS
Question:	what is the difference between the 6.5 inch vs the 8 inch versions
Answer:	The tweeters are exactly the same between the two. The 8" model has a larger woofer and therefore will provide better bass reproduction (i.e., deeper low end bass). The reason for the different sizes is sometimes the spacing distances between the ceiling joist and wall studs will dictate which one you can use . If your wall studs or ceiling joist are on 16" centers then get the 8"... if they are on 12" centers you'll have to settle for the 6.5". Hands down... if you have the room get the 8". Just FYI: The 8" version outsells the 6" version 2 to 1.
Question:	How much sound is transferred to the room above? I'm installing in a basement ceiling below a bedroom
Answer:	Depends on the construction of the house. I would Place a bat of fiberglass insulation behind the speaker if there is no insulation in the ceiling. This will reduce the transmission of sound upstairs , and improve the sound of the speaker in the room it's installed.
Question:	Do these speakers have open backs? Do they come with enclosures
Answer:	This is actually a great question. As the others have said, the backs are open, which is typically not an issue when installing into a wall or ceiling. HOWEVER...if you install into a ceiling that has blown insulation above it (the loose cellulose kind, not the rolled fiberglass kind) then you WILL want to come up with your own way of keeping the loose insulation off the backs of the speaker. If you don't (as I didn't the first time I bought these) then over time the quality and volume of the sound will lessen because of the insulation working into and pressing against the cones. I had to replace one set because of this problem.

Answer:	To a certain extend yes due to the way the cable is made , however not much resist a decided pet , unless you take the time to coat the cables with hot cayenne pepper or the like , you pet will soon be looking for more attractive chew like mine did ...it also train them for not chewing electrical cord which is deadly . it is a nasty habit you must train yourb pet.
