Answer:	I just checked my pole mount it looks like its right around 36 mm. This was an eye ball check so I'm leaning towards 36 mm. Also these are very well built better then any of my other stands.

Answer:	The total weight of 5 surround rm58's is 15.4 pounds. I believe these stands will work fine. There are several ways to attach speakers to these stands. I had lots of hardware leftover.

Answer:	You don't need to drill holes into your speakers as the speaker stands have adjustable clamps to lock the speakers in place. They also come with rubber pads that attach to the stand's speaker clamps. For extra security, you could replace the rubber pads with velcro strips.

Question:	can you fix the speaker to the stand to avoid it falling if bump into it
Answer:	There is no mechanical device equipped with this stand to attach the speaker to it. It comes with round rubber pads that you stick to the top of the platform and then set the speaker onto those pads. The pads are very grippy and hold the speaker securely. One would have to really bump into the speaker/stand to knock it off. I have purchased 2 sets of these stands for my equipment. They are a very good product which I can highly recommend.
Question:	Can you take the feet off the top so it's completely flat? Speakers i want to put on it are round and small, so the feet wouldn't be under them
Answer:	There are no feet on the top. There are some flat little stock in rubber grips that you can place wherever you like. Really like the stands myself.
Question:	Will this bookshelf speaker stands work with my Polk speakers

Question:	Screwed the base into the vertical column until the wood screws were flush, but the column and base are loose. Pull them apart easily
Answer:	Well, that's unfortunate. That didn't happen with me at all. In this case I would request a replacement as it seems that something is bad with the material you received. In my case I screwed both the base and the top part into the vertical column and everything is very firm after that.

The Klipsch Surround 3 has a speaker dimension of 6~5/8"H x 4.25”W x 4.25”L weighing approximately 2.2 lbs each speaker that requires insert bolt holes for mounting which is perfectly compatible with the speaker but may require a different type of bolt. Answer:	Same size or bigger. My speakers are bigger. There are little rubber things that stick to the corners that the speakers should be on.

Answer:	If you have low freq. sound going down...what it does Best...you have problems far greater than you can imagine...>$4000-10000 in expert noise proofing might not handle problems. Low freq sound runs through beams, load bearing walls, hard thick surfaces and bleeds thru small cracks...Think relocation more RMS and larger woofers/subwoofers....Exercise you audiophile rights to 83 decible avg SPL with peaks in the 100s. Is every persons God given right...Relocate For Audio!!!!

Answer:	They should i have a pair of polk book shelf speakers. I just wish the verticle mounting bracket was about 4 inches taller to reach my speakers keyhole mount i had mount my speakers upside down but that's only because did not want to drill any mount holes in them. But besides that i like the stands.

Answer:	I installed RP-402S's on them and they're the same dimensions and weight as the RP-240S. Works well, and they're on the carpet.

Question:	Can I use these for JBL Studio 530 speakers
Answer:	from looking at pictures and specifications of the JBL 530 speakers it does look like these stands would hold them.
Question:	Product received had Screws in too tight for assembly. Has this problem been rectified
Answer:	I got mine last month. Some of those screws were REALLY tight. In fact in the end I stripped one. Luckily a wrench solved the problem.

Answer:	I have a set of Bose 201 and 301 on a set of these stands with no problem at all. I'm sure the 161 will probably fit. My 301 (the larger of the two) is 14"W x9 1/2"D x10" H and they are pretty heavy also.
