User questions & answers
Question: | Is this offer for single or pair speakers |
Answer: | Pair |
Question: | Are they "power speakers?" As in, could they be connected to a record player without a reciever |
Answer: | The R-14M is a passive speaker that requires a receiver or amp to power it. |
Question: | Would these be good for near field studio monitors or not neutral enough |
Answer: | As far as studio monitors, you are correct, they are not completely neutral. They are very efficent speakers however and far exceed the power ratings Klipsch specifies. Their ideal situation is really for home theather rear or side channel surround sound as effects channels. They also make a very powerful, high-fi bookshelf companion for a mini system. I am currently using them in a 7.2 Atoms setup and they knock it out of the park. If you are truely looking for 1-1 studio monitors, Yahmaha is they way to go but have your checkbook ready. ;) |
Question: | What's the battery for |
Answer: | I believe that's an error in the description. These are passive, wired speakers. I have a pair...they're excellent speakers for the price. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What are the dimensions of these speakers |
Answer: | They are individually sold. Just bought two and they will be shipped in two boxes. |
Question: | Do these speakers have an AUX in |
Answer: | That receiver would work, but it might not be optimal performance. The R-820F speaker has a 150Watts minimum power rating at 8 Ohms nominal with a 600 Watts peak. Our speakers can run efficiently off of 80% of their minimum power rating so at least we would recommend 120 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms for this model. We also don’t recommend going over half way to the peak power on our speakers so the maximum recommended would be 300 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Running a "vintage" Pioneer Sx-780, and the speaker outouts are 4 ohm. Will this be a problem |
Answer: | Yes. The stand on the iPhone 6 Plus is not designed to offer portrait mode. Instead, it STILL has landscape movie-watching, but they now assume you'll stick your finger(s) through the hole to act as a holder-in-the-hand support device. In this mode, it is actually quite useful. Only on the iPhone 4 and 5 did the stand for sure operate as a portrait mode stand device. |
Question: | Is it a Pair or single speaker |
Answer: | The cutout at the bottom of the holster allows you to charge your phone while it’s in the holster.... |
Question: | Can these be hooked up through an RCA cable or just speaker wire |
Answer: | perfectly! |
Question: | Does it have keyhole on back like the picture |
Answer: | Dear Customer , Thank you for your message. The front pouch will be a little tight for AirPods. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Warm regards, |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do they need to be plugged in |
Answer: | Yes, power cable needs to be plugged in. And Right speaker needs to be connected to left speaker. Music source can be connected via cable but Bluetooth can be used as well. |
Question: | is this one speaker or a pair |
Answer: | It’s a pair and the speakers are great. |
Question: | I just bought this set and they are great but can i hook them up to a receiver |
Answer: | You don't need a receiver. It has it's own amp built in. That's the purpose of it I would suggest not to cuz it might damage the built-in receiver if you hook up another receiver. |
Question: | what is a3.5mm jack |
Answer: | I love the humor Here lmao! 3.5 jack it’s basically the same connection you have on the other end of the earphones to connect into a gadget. The pointy metal thing you plug-in to a device so you can hear sound (tip, ring, sleeve) If you still can’t understand what I’m trying to say, it’s a dam headphone jack connection to send signal to the speakers |

- Feature Klipsch proprietary Tractrix Horn technology
- Highly efficient design produces more output using less energy
- Accurate, non-fatiguing sound provides hours of listening pleasure
- IMG Woofers create tight musical bass
User questions & answers
Question: | does it come with 15' of speaker wire |
Answer: | The B-200 does not come with speaker wire, but we would recommend purchasing at least 16 gauge speaker wire for runs under 500 feet. |
Question: | Se puede conectar con saund bar |
Answer: | Only the Surround 3 model can be connected as surrounds with the Cinema 600. |
Question: | What does the 75w power rating labeled on the back of the speaker represent? I’ve seen 85 rms posted and 68 minimum watts recommended here |
Answer: | The B-200 has a 85 Watt continuous power rating at 8 Ohms nominal with a 340 Watt peak. Our speakers can run efficiently off of 80% of their minimum power rating so at least we would recommend 68 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms for this model. We also don’t recommend going over half way to the peak power on our speakers so the maximum recommended would be 170 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms. (75 Watts in this case is a minimum recommendation to simplify a search for a receiver based on the idea that it would be difficult to find a 68 Watt per channel rating on a receiver.) |
Question: | Are these speakers powered or do they need a receiver or a DAC amp to drive them |
Answer: | This is a passive speaker that requires a speaker wire connection to an AV receiver or amplifier for audio signal and power. |

Question: | Do the "renewed" klipsch speakers come with the manufacturer warranty? i see the amazon 90 day guarantee, is that the full warranty? thx |

User questions & answers
Question: | I'm considering these or the Synergy KB 15s..what are the major differences between the two |
Answer: | I am using these speakers for two channel stereo and they are outstanding, as such. But the bottom end cuts off at 45 Hz. The RB61 II's are a big, large size bookself speaker, which I feel are really between a bookself and floor standing speaker and this gives an excellent voice. A humans hearing is 20 to 20,000 Hz, so a suboofer with todays speakers, including the RB61 II, improves and fills in the lower end of the sound spectrum, but you may be satisfied with what they deliver alone, because they are an excellent large speaker. |
Question: | could you use two of these side by side as a center speaker to match my dual 8in R-28F fronts |
Answer: | Front firing. There is no rear port on these speakers. In my case, they are placed in corners and there are no sound issues (that I can hear) related to their front firing design. |
Question: | Can these speakers be laid down sideways? I don’t have 19” space between shelves |
Answer: | i think it depends on your receiver. your receiver can calibrate with front and rear speaker. |
Question: | Any hiss heard in horns during quiet passages |
Answer: | The receiver will run the speakers, but it might not be optimal. From what information was found on that receiver it shows the out put minimum is 4 Ohms, but rated at 45 to 50 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms. The R-51M has a 85 Watts continuous power rating at 8 Ohms nominal with a 340 Watts peak. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the range of these 4" woofer speakers?? Hz To kHz |
Answer: | Depending on your distance it could vary for a wide soundstage. However, in my setup, which is about 9 feet away from the center, it sounds fantastic. The 500c is excellent compared to the regular reference r-52c. Much more clarity and the dispersion pairs well with the dispersion of the 610f horn/wave guide. More than 10 feet would probably warrant a bigger center though for soundstage width. |
Question: | hows the bass on this compare to r15? personal use in my bedroom only and i dnt wanna spend on subwoofy. thanks in advance |
Answer: | While this is a matter of preference, Klipsch would recommend setting the R-610F speakers in between 80-100Hz. |
Question: | Is it a pair or a single speaker |
Answer: | No one speaker |
Question: | I'm new to this, how to connect these speakers with a turntable that has a built-in pre-amplifier? I'm totally confused. There is no place to plug |
Answer: | Any 16-gauge or 14-gauge wire should do the trick. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I dont see any techmical specs in this ad. Whatare the input impedence and maximum power limits |
Answer: | Not sure, I would think there are better options for vocal speakers |
Question: | what size are they |
Answer: | You could do that if needed i suppose but i will say if you are tight on space i would recommend looking at something a bit smaller. These are beautiful speakers but they definitely require some room, not your average bookshelf speaker by any means. |
Question: | Could I use them horizontally |
Answer: | This is typically on account of your integrated receiver's THD - on my Pioneer and Mcintosh (both of which have a THD of .005) the speakers were pitch black BUT when I hooked the exact same speakers up to my Rotel Integrated and separate amps (THD .3) there was always an audible hiss, it drove me NUTS - it's actually the reason I got rid of the Rotels. So even though horn tweeters are more sensitive and more likely to hiss - that is not the case with these - it's probably the stereo unit. Hope this helps. |
Question: | Can you mount them in the wall |
Answer: | You need an amp or receiver yes...... klispch speakers take very little wattage to be powered |
