I would check that first, I cannot comment on whether you would be able to plug the pre-amp into the phono input. Perhaps you could contact Audio Technica directly. |

| Answer: | Yes, I have one installed on my Thorens TD 160 Mk II turntable which has the TP16 tonearm (undermount style with TP62 headshell). Since the TP62's screws are thinner than the AT's threaded holes they fit perfectly (even the length is just right); if the Thorens screws were any thicker this would be impossible - so, a happy coincidence! And yes, the AT-VM95ML tracks even difficult (warped) records flawlessly, with no audible inner groove distortion or sibilance. In my opinion, the VM95ML is the best performing cartridge on the market at this price. |

| Answer: | Both of the VM95ML cartridges I purchased through Amazon were marked "made in Japan" on the top of the cartridge. Completely got rid of inner groove distortion for me! |

| Answer: | Yes, it will fit the Fluance RT81 perfectly. You will, of course, have to perform an alignment and re-adjust the VTF once you swap the cartridges. Just be sure that you purchase this item (the entire cartridge/stylus combo) and not just the VMN95ML stylus that is sold separately. Unless they have changed the cartridge that ships with the RT81 recently it ships with an AT95E cartridge (which has been discontinued by Audio Technica) and the individual styli are not interchangeable. |
