Answer:	No, it is small pellet bait. Doesn't even look like peanuts.
Question:	how long and far apart are the tines
Answer:	Common sense would dictate limits such as at the intake? No, ten feet away down hill, it's fine. I don't worry about the poison leeching as much as an animal like a bear digging and scattering it into your system. Bears are attracted to the gurgling of water systems and tend to pester them if they're isolated. I use this in fields with stock. Use as directed
Question:	why cant i twist the handle to open? I just got it today, and cant extend the handle, its as if someone used locktite on it

Answer:	I don’t believe so. It claims to be all aluminum. Lead would make it to soft.

Answer:	This is not the right type of trowel with which to get a consistant volume sample. The kind you need would require a trough with a top edge of uniform height where any excess soil could be squared off with a knife or stick.
Question:	Does anybody know the approximate volume of the corona ct3010 comfort trowel? we are using to collect soil samples
Answer:	Probably because the "teeth' for knocking soil out of roots are on the left hand side of the tool as you're holding it. Not a big deal in my opinion.
