According to this reference (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps-processors/2973392-official-2018-denon-s-series-x-series-avr-owner-s-thread-faq-posts-1-8-a.html) what the 4500 adds over 3500 is below. Looks like the 3500 does not have AL32 processing, which is significant imo. Also the 3500 will not get the "IMAX Enhanced" certification & modes coming to the X4500 and 6500 (no one knows if those are any good, but worth noting). --- Upgrading from the X3500H adds: 2 additional on board amps for 9CH on board processing (ie. 7.1.2 or 5.1.4; with capability to expand to 11CH processing (ie. 7.1.4) using an external 2CH amp), 11.2 main zone pre-outs, Zone 3 (same inputs as Zone 2 except not HDMI), a 2nd 12v trigger, front panel display of speaker inputs (or outputs), metal front panel with 2 line display, Custom 2 CH main zone settings (using FL/FR or dedicated Front B; LARGE/SMALL; crossover settings, sub – on/off, distance, level), two internal cooling fans, Auro 3D/Auromatic, AL32 Processing, Bass Sync; Remote Control able to store preset codes from other mfr devices (see below) and the ability to add Auro 3D Voice of God/Top Surround via the Subwoofer pre-out 2 only. You now multiply the maximum wall current time the voltage supplied. 15x110= 1,650 max watts But at that point you will trip your breaker. Class AB amps are about 60-65% efficient. That knocks it down to about 1072 watts peak at 15 amps. The representative of Pyle here just doesn't know. Their document states the 1,000watt as I stated which is maximum limit on wall power. They do not have actual power consumption as it has no compliance. If it did we could figure out how much it would put out per channel. Honestly its about 45wpc rms at 8 ohms. Pyle representative is obviously no audio person. |

I have better FM reception than the receiver this replaced and Bluetooth easily goes 40 feet, so unless your way out of town somewhere it is most likely going to work fine. I'm about 20 miles from the towers where I live. |

To test this you can unplug it and re-plug it back in and it won’t spark again because the capacitors are still holding their charge from the initial power up. |

| Answer: | Assuming your 2 speakers in each zone are in stereo, no. For 6 zones, you would need 12 channels (2x6), and this amp is only an 8 channel amp. If however you only had four zones, yes--this amplifier has individual inputs for each 8 channels but keep in mind that is does not provide switching so whatever device (input) is plugged into that 'zone' will be the one played--you can not switch inputs without plugging and unplugging cables in the back. If you wanted easy switching, you would need a seperate pre-amp/switcher kind of device to do that. (And to clarify for others, you can also plug in stereo inputs and the amp can internally cascade the same signal throughout all 8 channels (in stereo x4). |
