Question:	Do you need a tv to set up pandora or a wireless connection
Answer:	I was wondering too! The one I am replacing was bought from Amazon Jan. 2015. It stated Poland on the Glass, but nothing on the plastic. Now they all seem to state Portugal on the glass portion. I like the BODUM embossed plastic frame, but it is an older model with the flat top and D handle. Even Bodum does updates.

Answer:	Beaker is glass. The handle and the part that the beaker fits into is plastic.
Question:	I plug in an antenna that goes to my outside wireless speakers in the headphone jack, on some receivers this turns off my inside connected speakers
Answer:	I had the other Brazil version. I was able to remove the beaker. VERY CAREFUL, it is in there tight. SOAP and warm water, you should get some movement from it. I wouldn't recommend removing the beaker unless you really have to clean it. If you don't feel comfortable removing the beaker, then I wouldn't.
Question:	How many watts per channel for 8ohm speakers if only using front two , center speaker with sub woofer and no surround sound
Answer:	It is sad, isn't it, that some misguided bean counter at Bodun decided to earn a bonus by replacing a sturdy, metal piece (like my 30 year old Bodun has) with that ridiculous piece of plastic; saving, what? Two cents worth? Well, that was mine. I will take another commenter's advice and be gentle. It is informative that the elaborate pictures in the description do not show this particular piece; apparently they know.

Question:	How many speakers can I run at one time through this receiver
Answer:	It has a gloss finish.
Question:	Is this receiver in stock and are you actually able to deliver it on October 14th, or are they on backorder with Marantz with uncertain delivery
Answer:	Improving sound of Netflix or the TV? We have the same lower sound from Amazon Instant video also but nothing to do with the Samsung 5300. Normal volume for TV for us is about 19-25 setting but Internet videos force us to increase to 30-40 on the bar. I'll add that if you just want to up the overall volume and quality you can always add one of the many external speaker/amp units, BUT you could also do what I did on our 32"... I cut a clear plastic bottle about 4" diameter or so lengthwise and then used some black duct tape to hang them over each speaker on the bottom of the frame (tape on back of tv) this made two "scoops" facing forward and directs the sound out the front rather than down. Beiing clear they really do not show from viewing distance. Those and making the best of the built in sound "modes" and settings you can really tailor to something more.It does help and costs nothing to try first before you buy add on sound system.
Question:	Is the front panel metallic or plastic
Answer:	Samsung has its own special 'clear motion rate' that they use to determine the hz level. Other companys do it to with their own wording. Basically in short its like saying....samsungs proprietary image processor provides a smoother and cleaner image than the general old school version or knockoff brand and that being said lends the image to look like its 120hz. When combined with the led backlit technology and the panels 60hz refresh rate its basically equivalent to the modern day 120hz models. I have 4 HDTVs and I can tell you that there is a huge difference between samsung and other brands. This particular tv I have hooked up straight to the cable so I don't even get the luxury's of having crystal clear HDTV you get from having a cable box with HDTV features. I have the brightness turned down all the way to 0 as well lol since its in a bedroom with blacked out curtains. The TV is solid the apps are solid and the fact that samsung is working on an adapter to constantly update the smart features is awesome. The only down side is that this is the start of a new erra. OLED is going to be the norm. Google it for more info but basically your going to get deeper blacks with it because your turning LEDs off not hiding them. For what its worth its an awesome low end smart TV with solid features, images, HDMI! hello-3 i think thats more than my 65" samsung has. Keeping it at 40 inches is a good small-med sized room TV, my recommendation is to get a 46" if you want it for a medium sized room and is you want a living room TV go 55". I regret my 65" purchase - to big. Streatches pixels and makes mediocre cable look terrible because you see every flaw. Answer:	don’t use the headphone jack for your wireless speakers. Connecting anything to headphones Jack or aux Jack usually will remove sound from going to your hooked up speakers. If the speakers are wireless, are they Bluetooth or WiFi? See if you can use that feature on the Denon receiver to pair the wireless speakers.

Answer:	Will not pass through 4k @ 120Hz or 8k @ 60Hz do to a bottleneck of the Panasonic chip used. This impacts the all the 2020 Denon AVRs and most mfg claiming HDMI 2.1 compatible. The work around us to connect your pc or console directly to your HDMI 2.1 TV and use the TVs eARC back to the AVR. Even then not all TVs pass lossless via eARC equally.

I do this to watch football (association and gridiron) while on the treadmill and listening to radio or music. Question:	can use it has preamp
Answer:	i have had Yamaha's (RX-V75) and now this Sony. I have had a brief issue, but seemed to be resolved after a firmware update. The general problem appears to be with some of the auto setup of HDMI. This issue does not seem to be particular to the Sony though as My Yamaha has had similar problems. There is an HDMI settting that is supposed to handle the communication via HDMi of all attached devices. The problem appears to be that not everyone implements that auto connection in quite the same way. On my Yamaha I have disabled it. The Sony does auto detect better than I ever seen a deck before (Speaker, HDMI, etc) and it resolved and HDMI handshake issue I was having with my Oppo BD 93 that the Yamaha could not handle (the 3D input signal was taking way to long to be recognized and the TV screen flickered while it though about it).The one issue I ran into was a connection on the speaker post had come loose and could not get the sound to work right again. I had to unhook everything and then re-connect everything and have it re-runit's auto detect feature. Then everything worked fine again and has since that.Sometime auto features are too smart for their own good and a dedicated setup is better.

Answer:	As of today's date, the HDMI issue has not been resolved by SONY. My recommendation is to look elsewhere for a receiver. I understand from research that ONKYO had a similar problem very early in 2013. However, the difference appears to be that ONKYO has resolved the problem. I returned my SONY 1040 and purchased ONKYO 626. A bit less power, however, I can watch TV without unplugging the receiver every few days just to get it to work.

Answer:	For my setup, before the firmware update, right after I hooked it up to my tv for the first time, the TV's video would constantly turn on, then go black for long periods, it was unusable. I temporarily solved it by using my TV's dvi port and an dvi to hdmi cable. After the firmware update and finally doing the receiver setup the screen going black still occurs, but only about 20% of the time on all inputs, except my ps3, which still exhibits the constant black screen problem. I have a PS3, Roku 3, Chromecast, HTPC connected to a Westinghouse monitor. Called Sony about the problem, and was told to ship, my week old receiver, to them at my own expense, for diagnosis.
