Question:	Do you need a tv to set up pandora or a wireless connection
Answer:	I was wondering too! The one I am replacing was bought from Amazon Jan. 2015. It stated Poland on the Glass, but nothing on the plastic. Now they all seem to state Portugal on the glass portion. I like the BODUM embossed plastic frame, but it is an older model with the flat top and D handle. Even Bodum does updates.

Answer:	Beaker is glass. The handle and the part that the beaker fits into is plastic.
Question:	I plug in an antenna that goes to my outside wireless speakers in the headphone jack, on some receivers this turns off my inside connected speakers
Answer:	I had the other Brazil version. I was able to remove the beaker. VERY CAREFUL, it is in there tight. SOAP and warm water, you should get some movement from it. I wouldn't recommend removing the beaker unless you really have to clean it. If you don't feel comfortable removing the beaker, then I wouldn't.
Question:	How many watts per channel for 8ohm speakers if only using front two , center speaker with sub woofer and no surround sound
Answer:	It is sad, isn't it, that some misguided bean counter at Bodun decided to earn a bonus by replacing a sturdy, metal piece (like my 30 year old Bodun has) with that ridiculous piece of plastic; saving, what? Two cents worth? Well, that was mine. I will take another commenter's advice and be gentle. It is informative that the elaborate pictures in the description do not show this particular piece; apparently they know.

Answer:	don’t use the headphone jack for your wireless speakers. Connecting anything to headphones Jack or aux Jack usually will remove sound from going to your hooked up speakers. If the speakers are wireless, are they Bluetooth or WiFi? See if you can use that feature on the Denon receiver to pair the wireless speakers.

Zone 2

Answer:	To do it in the same room: Plug a couple of speakers into the Zone 2 outputs, then on the remote turn on Z2 and select tuner (scene 2) or other audio input you want; use the remote to set Z2 volume. Meanwhile Main input remains on STB or whatever you use, with main output volume muted and closed caption as you wish. I do this to watch football (association and gridiron) while on the treadmill and listening to radio or music. I recommend Acoustic Audio AA321B speakers for Z2, available on Amazon for about $32 for a pair.

Answer:	I have not heard a 3500, and I own a 4500. According to this reference (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps-processors/2973392-official-2018-denon-s-series-x-series-avr-owner-s-thread-faq-posts-1-8-a.html) what the 4500 adds over 3500 is below. Looks like the 3500 does not have AL32 processing, which is significant imo. Answer:	Will not pass through 4k @ 120Hz or 8k @ 60Hz do to a bottleneck of the Panasonic chip used. This impacts the all the 2020 Denon AVRs and most mfg claiming HDMI 2.1 compatible. The work around us to connect your pc or console directly to your HDMI 2.1 TV and use the TVs eARC back to the AVR. Even then not all TVs pass lossless via eARC equally.

Question:	Will this device support the SiriusXM internet radio
Answer:	It does not have an input for a dedicated XM or Sirius Tuner as some earlier SONY receivers did. It has an internal input for "Music Services" but the only two supported are Chromecast and Spotify. Pretty lame. However, with the addition of another device that is capable of streaming SiriusXM (such as Sony Blu Ray player BDP-S3700), you can stream SiriusXM. If you have a good universal remote control (I am using a Harmony Ultimate), the integrated control of the receiver and streaming SiriusXM is fairly easy to program.
Question:	Why does the manufacturer keep replying here that dolby vision is not supported? it clearly says on the sony website that dolby vision is supported

Answer:	Yes you can! I just received mine and I had seen conflicting answers on this question all across the internet. When you set the HDMI Out B to HDMI Zone, you can display and hear your computer on your main TV and your Xbox One on your gaming TV.
Question:	How would you connect additional Dolby Atmos speakers to this, in an existing 7.1 speaker system setup
Answer:	Dolby Atmos is a speaker configuration incorporating downward firing speakers. You would use the “height” channel speakers as the Dolby Atmos speaker channel, by either installing speakers in the ceiling, or get Dolby Atmos Projection speakers that sit on top of your front surround speakers. You may be able to rig certain speakers as downward firing speakers, however I could consult a Dolby atmos installation guide as they have all the ideal placement specifications for the ideal audio balance/ experience. Dolby Atmos In home theatres is usually a 7.1, 9.1, or 11.1 set up. With 2,4 or up to 6 speakers being placed in the downward firing position e.g ceiling mounted and facing down.

Answer:	Like others have mentioned, it does support 4k hdr. I just set it up with my ps5, but initially it was only doing 4k with no hdr or 1080p with hdr. The process for enabling 4k with hdr is outlined in the operating handbook. I had to press "Amp menu" then "hdmi" then "sig. fmt." then "Game", then select "enhanced". ("Game" is specific to the hdmi port my ps5 is plugged into, I guess individual ports could have their own settings?)

Answer:	I would think if you select "TV" as your input for the receiver, the receiver is expecting audio via the HDMI-ARC channel from your TV. Is this how you have it setup?

Answer:	I bought the 590, appx half the time, when I turn the tv on, the receiver is linked, it is in mute mode. The only way to correct it is to turn everything off. Restart, sometimes more than once. Very annoying.

Question:	Can you use 8 ohm speakers with this receiver
Answer:	I had the same problem.. but squeezing it in the cabinet without ventilation will not be a good idea. I had to modify my cabinet. I have about an inch clearance on top the feet stayed and so air can flow. Both the sides have enough space. But if you still want to remove the feet I’m guessing it should be easy. My other receivers have screws that’s can easily be removed. This particular model since I can’t pull it out all the way, I put my finger and feel the bottom an can say it’s the same as the others. Maybe you should look for photos or someone can answer your question specifically. I hope it helps..

Answer:	This can decode Atmos signals, but as it does not have enough amplified channels, cannot reproduce the height channels required for Atmos. So, yes it had the software to interpret Atmos media, but can't produce true Atmos sound.

Answer:	SURE CAN! I HAVE A FIRESTICK (4K) PLUGGED INTO A HDMI PORT ON THE BACK, AND IT PERFORMS PERFECTLY. I DO BOTH AMAZON AND NETFLIX FROM IT, BETTER THAN LG APPLICATION TV USES.

Answer:	I have not heard a 3500, and I own a 4500. According to this reference (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps-processors/2973392-official-2018-denon-s-series-x-series-avr-owner-s-thread-faq-posts-1-8-a.html) what the 4500 adds over 3500 is below. Looks like the 3500 does not have AL32 processing, which is significant imo. Also the 3500 will not get the "IMAX Enhanced" certification & modes coming to the X4500 and 6500 (no one knows if those are any good, but worth noting). --- Upgrading from the X3500H adds: 2 additional on board amps for 9CH on board processing (ie. 7.1.2 or 5.1.4; with capability to expand to 11CH processing (ie. 7.1.4) using an external 2CH amp), 11.2 main zone pre-outs, Zone 3 (same inputs as Zone 2 except not HDMI), a 2nd 12v trigger, front panel display of speaker inputs (or outputs), metal front panel with 2 line display, Custom 2 CH main zone settings (using FL/FR or dedicated Front B; LARGE/SMALL; crossover settings, sub – on/off, distance, level), two internal cooling fans, Auro 3D/Auromatic, AL32 Processing, Bass Sync; Remote Control able to store preset codes from other mfr devices (see below) and the ability to add Auro 3D Voice of God/Top Surround via the Subwoofer pre-out 2 only. Question:	Is this or is it not a 5 channel surround sound unit
Answer:	Will not pass through 4k @ 120Hz or 8k @ 60Hz do to a bottleneck of the Panasonic chip used. This impacts the all the 2020 Denon AVRs and most mfg claiming HDMI 2.1 compatible. The work around us to connect your pc or console directly to your HDMI 2.1 TV and use the TVs eARC back to the AVR. Even then not all TVs pass lossless via eARC equally.

Question:	Does the phono input have a built in amplifier or does the phono player have to have one
Answer:	I contacted the manufacture and they told me it was Dolby Digital. One would assume the they were talking about surround sound . I too did not see a Dolby logo. It was my understanding that anyone using Dolby of any kind , stereo, surround, noise reduction etc. must have the Dolby logo on the item. So I have my suspension as to if this is really Dolby Surround or Dolby of anykind.

Answer:	I bought it for my garage. Run 2 old Pioneer and 3 Infinity bookshelves off it with a small powered sub. Had an old Denon receiver that took up to much space. Bluetooth syncs auto every time and has plenty of power to fill my 2 stall garage easy. For the price I’ve been very happy. Brother in law bought one too and is also happy.

Answer:	Very deceptive marketing. It does not have Dolby digital decoding with discrete 5.1 channels. It has two channel stereo, which it can mix to five identical output channels for its definition of surround sound. You can control the volume of each channel, but they are not discrete or different like Dolby 5.1.
