Answer:	Yes, assuming you hook them up correctly!. I have some 70's vintage Technics speakers running on it just fine.

Answer:	Disconnect your input source to the amplifier. If the noise goes away, then it's coming from the source and not the amplifier. If the noise continues, disconnect all inputs. If you hear the noise, the problem is likely the amplifier.
Question:	is there a way to hook up to a new flat screen tv to run a set of external speakers
Answer:	You asked this a while ago, so I'm guessing you've found out by now. This receiver does not have HDMI or Optical inputs, only RCA inputs. Most new TVs no longer come with RCA out, but many have a headphone output. If your TV has a headphone output, you can get a headphone to RCA adapter and use that to connect to this receiver.
Question:	Can I run an RCA cord from my TV to this amp? The input/output schematic does not show a TV
Answer:	All 3 inputs are RCA, just pick one :) Just because it says "CD" or "Aux" doesn't specifically mean you must use that device, RCA is RCA. However, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it. Mine died (non smoking house, didn't overheat or push it too far) within 1 month of use. I decided to go with the Dayton Audio APA150, which has been a workhorse since day 1 with no issues and much better consumer ratings than this Pyle of junk. Happy hunting.

Question:	Does this test dmx or only xlr
Answer:	The manual, which is available on the Behringer website at http://www.behringer.com/assets/CT100_P0133_M_EN.pdf, details the intermittent, open and short test functions. Surprisingly, with 100's of audio cables of all sorts I have not had the need to use this feature so I can't confirm or deny its performance. I'll update if/when I do!
Question:	Verified customer: i've bought two of these now. this pct-40 does well for audio equipment but epic fail of the usb port: source to source? oops
Answer:	First, cables can be plugged directly into the connectors on the box, which is much faster than connecting multi-meter probes. Secondly, intermittent connections can be found by wiggling the cables. Intermittents are indicated with a separate set of LEDs. I checked cables with a multi-meter for years and missed several intermittent connections. This is FAR superior.
Question:	How would I test a subwoofer cable continuity that both ends are about 100' feet apart
Answer:	So glad you find the XLR Sniffer/Sender so useful! The TRS (1/4") version of the tester is not currently available due to a redesign, but will be made available again some time soon!
Question:	This thing says it can test USB but you can only plug in one end, am I missing something
Answer:	Yes. Works well. Once reeled up, I let the water out to relive the pressure in hose. Should extend the life of the hose.

Answer:	Most amplifiers with a 1 volt signal coming in the input will max out around 50 % on the volume control. After the amp is maxed, the sound will be distorted. Known as clipping. The extra control on your volume is fir a weaker signal in the input.
