Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't think so. Unless there is an issue with the software itself (scratched/unreadable disk or invalid authorization numbers), I don't think any tech support will be able to help you. I say this because Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7 on 1/14/2020. According to my online research, there is only one true work-around for the Windows 7 End of Service (EOS) issue: IF you had purchased Windows 7 (Professional or Enterprise) AND had activated the EOS option PRIOR to 1/14/2020. It's also important to note that the EOS updates are not free and must be renewed yearly. While I agree that this is bad news, there are some sites that promise to keep supplying Windows 7 updates for year. But once again, these updates will not be free. There are countless other sites that recommend a completely different OS system, one that is not reliant on Microsoft. But there are so many compatibility issues to consider with a new OS (will my printer work with the new OS? What type of internet browsers are available? Will my currently installed programs run on the new OS?) It certainly doesn't help that Microsoft is telling people that some older computers can't even run Windows 10!! Maybe a better temporary fix would be to upgrade to Windows 8? I'm not sure what the answer is, I'm exploring my options, too! Good luck and I'm sorry that I couldn't give you a more positive answer!

Answer:	Without having a proper test microphone and measurement software (such as SMAART), you could use a sine wave generator (or a collection of prerecorded sine waves from 40-200 Hz) and a sound pressure meter (or sound pressure phone app). The accuracy of low frequency sound pressure measurements will depend on your telephone. Google subwoofer setup procedure.

Answer:	Hello. Please see our second main image. The "audio in" rca posts are connected to sound sources. The "spk out" posts are a set of speaker binding posts. Answer:	This amp cuts off at 20 Hz with presumably a subsonic filter, how can it power bass shakers? You need to go down to 5 Hz for that.

How to use

(A) SUB Mode

1. Use RCA cable to connect your audio sources like Phone / MP3 / PC / TV ... to the "AUDIO IN" port
2. Use speaker wire or banana plug to connect your passive subwoofer to the "SPK OUT" port
3. Connect the power supply with the amp firstly and then to the wall
4. Turn the toggle to "SUB"
5. Turn the toggle to "ON"

(B) Mono Channel Mode

1. Mono channel means single right channel or left channel. If you want to drive stereo speakers. you need two of this amps to drive right and left speakers separately
2. Use RCA cable to connect your audio sources like Phone / MP3 / PC / TV ... to the left or right "AUDIO IN" port
3. Use speaker wire or banana plug to connect your left or right speaker to the "SPK OUT" port
4. Connect the power supply with the amp firstly and then to the wall

Question:	is it safe to hook up the sony ss-b1000 5-1/4 inch book shelfspeakers to this amp
Answer:	Yes, assuming you hook them up correctly!. I have some 70's vintage Technics speakers running on it just fine.
Question:	I hear "static" at low volume (definitely not the speskers). Any suggestions
Answer:	Disconnect your input source to the amplifier. If the noise goes away, then it's coming from the source and not the amplifier. If the noise continues, disconnect all inputs. If you hear the noise, the problem is likely the amplifier.
Question:	is there a way to hook up to a new flat screen tv to run a set of external speakers
Answer:	You asked this a while ago, so I'm guessing you've found out by now. This receiver does not have HDMI or Optical inputs, only RCA inputs. Most new TVs no longer come with RCA out, but many have a headphone output. If your TV has a headphone output, you can get a headphone to RCA adapter and use that to connect to this receiver.
Question:	Can I run an RCA cord from my TV to this amp? The input/output schematic does not show a TV
Answer:	All 3 inputs are RCA, just pick one :) Just because it says "CD" or "Aux" doesn't specifically mean you must use that device, RCA is RCA. However, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it. Mine died (non smoking house, didn't overheat or push it too far) within 1 month of use. I decided to go with the Dayton Audio APA150, which has been a workhorse since day 1 with no issues and much better consumer ratings than this Pyle of junk. Happy hunting.
