Answer:	Apart from an early 1980s vintage set of equalized Bose 901s, I've never been impressed with their sound. It's dull and boomy. JBL is cleaner. I use JBL monitors in my recording studio as reference speakers.

Answer:	No, the usb cable is just for power.
Question:	Will this play a cd on continuous play
Answer:	In Dec2020, with my black model, it works with ferric and chrome type tapes, and technically plays metal but sounds a bit “off”. Hard to describe and many average users may not notice this at all, but for a cheap cassette player - this works
Question:	Does it have an alarm clock function
Answer:	No, I do not have cleaners. The player eats batteries like popcorn. Batteries only last for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Have to take the batteries out after a half hour use and put back when ready to use again or the batteries go dead. Not a good buy.
Question:	Do the speakers detach
Answer:	Full size cassette not the micro type.
