Answer:	I don't believe so. If I recall correctly it would have to do with power output I think (could be wrong though). It works pretty good for cb though.

Answer:	The keeper has a nylon rope you loop around the mic button and then cinch down to how long you want the mic to hang. The extra string can then be trimmed off if desired.

Answer:	No, not at all. I have loaded many disks and have not had a problem with disk scratching. For this type of disk transport one has to a little more careful with handling the disk vs. a tray loading mechanism, but this unit works fine.

Answer:	Yes, and you can connect it with either the coax out or the optical out. You could even connect both and toggle between the two if you want to compare the sound quality of each signal path.

Answer:	I really don’t think you can. The output of this transport is a digital output (coaxial and optical) so you would need a digital input in your receiver. Since your model is from the 70’s and the digital technology became popular years later I don’t think you will have such input in your receiver. You would need a separate DAC (digital to analog converter) or a preamplifier between this transport and your pioneer. IF you have a digital input in your receiver, congrats you are good to go. Recording with this player using the USB port is for compressed music files only!So MP3s that are compressed will still sound even more compressed. I bought this for the Burr-Brown DACand a Onkyo 7030 for the Wolfson DAC!Using the add on features may be useful to some but it's really a waste IMO seeing how you lose so much Dynamic Range. Your knocking it down to vinyl standards with a good phono stage like the Carver C-1 preamp has built into it.Using this CD player with even a top of the line receiver will be nothing like using it with separate components. Using a good quality preamp and amp will allow you to get the best possible sound out of a stand alone CD player. I would also state that the Onkyo 7030 is a step up in sound quality over this CD player. I only bought the TEAC for it's Burr-Brown DAC and the fact that it will act as a back up CD player on my C-1's AUX 2 input!It's not a bad player, however, a + or - 2 DB frequency response is rather bad. The Onkyo is + or - .25 DB in comparison. Although I will admit that most people can't hear the difference.The Onkyo 7030 was my first Onkyo purchase and at a 11.7LB weight it's the best CD player on the market for under $400 easily! This Teac is the second best sub $400 player you can buy! People that claim they can actually hear the difference between CD players are usually kidding themselves and unless they are using separate components with a very good preamp and amp you simply can't hear the difference! They can claim all day long that they can, the truth is it's a ego thing! If you actually perform A/B testing between several different players you can see for yourself how true this actually is!I have friends that are very good guitarists and they have a good sense of sound in general. None of them can hear the difference as long as the output volume is the same. I always just suggest that you do the A/B testing yourself with a couple of friends and then you will understand what I have known for many years! People claim all sorts odd things. Such as hearing the difference between two similar turntables, hearing the difference between 14 gauge copper speaker wire and 10 gauge copper speaker wire. This is a joke as if you actually do A/B testing on your own you will see how full of cra* these people really are!!

Answer:	This is confusing because these reviews are for a few different model disc players, one does and the rest don't. It's the S1000 that plays SACDs. "The CD-S1000 is capable of playing Super Audio CDs... it also plays CDs and CD-RW discs."

Answer:	No, you do not need a separate amplifier to play CDs. The unit will play just fine. Of course, without an outboard amp for the unit to be plugged into and that amp feeding speakers, you will get no sound output. Nevertheless, it WILL play those CDs, and do so quietly.

Answer:	This is not a "complete" unit, but merely picks sounds off the CDs and provides output to send to (not included) speakers. Did you have a CD player previously? If so you would likely make the same connections to get CD output to your speakers. Otherwise, you will need another unit which will do that, probably including an amp. Might be time to reach out for help to someone in your circle of acquaintance. Mine is plugged into an "AV Receiver", (ONKYO brand, model TX-SR502) which also receives signal from my DVD player, turntable, TV, and internet radio receiver. The unit also provides radio tuner output if I want to listen to radio. Obviously, this is a separate unit which enables one to select which input to listen to.

Answer:	Hi Maria: if you are playing a CD, that has been recorded with songs in individual tracks, say 1-17; if you are listening to a song on track 5, you can STOP that song from playing, and the CD player will stop on that track, in that particular place. If you "hit" the play button again, the CD will continue playing that song. You can also "Fast Forward" that song, and stop the player before the end of the track. At the end of the track, the player will automatically go to the next track. One thing you can not do, as you can with a DVD player, that is playing a DVD that has been recorded with music, is STOP the CD player from playing a track, and then reverse the player to a previous point on the track you have been playing - the player will automatically revert to the previous track. However, if the CD you are playing has not been recorded in tracks, but is just one continuous sequence of songs, then you would be able to reverse the player to a previous position on the CD. The CD player keeps track of the total time of the DISK being played, and displays it on the indicator on the front panel. So, if you have written down the time your favorite song starts to play, you would be able to start your favorite song playing, from a Fast Forward position, by just stopping the player, and then restarting it in the ordinary Play mode, or reverse the player to the time displayed in which your favorite song starts. Answer:	I believe that optical always gives a much cleaner sound. Coax can pic up electrical noise but optical is transmitted via light so no noise. RCA cables have to be very high quality & then you have two connections on each end. For the price you can buy one good optical & have one good connection at each end. Less cables & better sound are always the best option.

I have B&W Nautilus speakers /Adcom 545 PA and Adcom 715 pre - in my "05" player system and sounds unbelivable ... sometimes rivaling my 1/2 spd master vinyl .... my B&W CDM 7's are driven by Citation amps and a NAD pre for my "06" system ... possibly the improved > 40 Hz is due to the difference with the CDM tweeters which are very good but not Nautilus quality nor as fast FR above 45Hz ... the "06" in the Nautius speakers sounded a bit harsh to my ears ... ea. sounds spectacular in the matches I describe here ...

Answer:	Nope, but if you have a USB thumb drive, you can scan back and forth. The 3.5 is not intellect like a USB connection

CD-200BT

The CD-200BT uses a brand new transport custom designed for audio playback with a smooth loading drawer and low clamping noise. The internal clock has been improved for a smoother sound and decreased jitter. Audio file playback signals can be received from a variety of Bluetooth compatible devices. Any file type that can be played back by iTunes, Windows Media Player, smartphone player apps and other music applications can be played through this unit.

Device Selection Function

Bluetooth playback requires pairing. Normally, pairing is one to one, but the CD-200BT has a device selection function that can be used to pair with multiple transmitting devices. By registering devices to be used in advance, you can switch smoothly between transmission devices for playback with minimal connection interruption time. （Only one device can be used for playback at a time）.

In addition, since the name of the transmission device currently being used for audio playback can be shown on the display, you can check the connection status within this unit.

Wireless Playback with High Quality Audio

A variety of different profiles are used for Bluetooth transmission depending on the application. The CD-200BT supports the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for high audio quality music playback, and SBC (Sub Band Codec), a standard A2DP codec. In addition, it supports the aptX codec, making high quality wireless audio playback possible. The aptX codec also has an error recovery function, so audio is much less likely to be interrupted, compared to ordinary SBC transmission.

Answer:	Hi! The unit is 11” deep, 16” wide and 5” high. I just measured mine. The CD tray is located directly below the display screen where the Toshiba logo is. Also, it does sound great with the EQ set to “rock”. Hope this helps!
