I personally do not care for the brightness at either setting, so I cut a piece of heavy white construction paper (about 6 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches), set the clock to dimmest setting and place the construction paper over the front of the display. The paper usually sticks there by itself (due to static electricity) and I only need it at night. The time is still visible in a dark room. Works great! |

Backup Battery
To keep accurate time, a CR2032 battery provides a backup power source. You'll still be on time in the event of a power outage.
